Stayed there a few times and like check in process, good if you arrive late. Great location close to the tube. Only downside was adjusting shower to less hot and I’ve never managed to get normal tv stations there

A terrible stay at this hotel for my first visit to London. First off, the checkin process was not smooth- received an email saying I could check in online but the stayz app did not recognize my reservation number. Showed up at hotel around 1430 and the door was locked . Had to communicate via whatsapp which was painful . Finally received a door code 20 minutes later. Upon room arrival, no working AC , no working WIFI, no working TV, smoke smelling room. After flying 13 hours, I could not even take a shower because the shower head bar broke off and the water temperature was scalding hot! Numerous unanswered messages regarding complete lack of amenities and the inability to take a shower. No one was working at front desk to help. And to end my night, the building fire alarm went off for about 10 minutes and I received a whatsapp message with a video showing me how to turn off a fire alarm! My reservation was prepaid for 3 nights but I left after the first night. I complained to the hotel about their lack of amenities via whatsapp since there was no one at the front desk again when I left in the morning . I received a " Sorry for your experience email but your reservation is non refundable" email.There are plenty of other hotels in that area- it's worth the extra few bucks it may cost. Leaving after the first night was the best decision I made.

No hooks to hang clothes. Peeling wallpaper. Loud traffic all night. A company that can’t even be bothered to bang a book into a wall for clothes is just taking money off people. Staff was nice and friendly though - hope he gets a job in a better place

Very nice spacious room. I still can’t figure out the optimised AC settings but maybe next time. I slept so well, I would have appreciated a slightly more flexible attitude upon checkout. I was ushered out bang on checkout time without any flexibility. Just worth being aware in case you’re as tired as I was when I checked in.

This hotel is ok for the price and location, I know it has been recently taken over and I think the rooms woul benefit from having working TVs, more hooks or storage, milk and bath towels, not hand towels. I was hoping that this would become a regular place to stay for work but after last night, I would not stay there again. The manager came to my room at 10:45pm to ask if the previous occupant of the room had left anything in the room ( they had been moved to a new room). Over the course of the night, it became clear why this had happened. The couple in room 5 were arguing all night and going in an out of their room slamming firedoors every single time. This went on until 6:45am, by which time I had to leave for work. There are no staff onsite over night but I did reach out directly to the area manager and booking agent but have received no response, acknowledgment or apology. I saw a member of staff as I was leaving who said oh yes the lady in room 5 is a nightmare. As this was known, I find it completley unacceptable that they thought it was ok to put someone else in the room

On arrival our TV in the roomwas not working, we went down to the Man sitting at reception and reported it, we were told someone would come and sort it. We went out for the evening, on our return home we were very disappointed that this had not been fixed. Nobody was around at this point.

Shops and tube very near which was great. TV was not working and air con didnt work either. Would bring an extra pillow as the flat thing provided was no good and had to sleep with all my clothes under it. It was noisy from street and other guests walking arounf however ear plug worksd fund for this and to be expected in entral london. Overall was fine for the price but defo could have done with a working TV and a pillow that you could sleep on.

We stayed at Wembar Hotel from November 18th to 21st. The room was small and okay, but unfortunately, it was not cleaned during our stay. The air conditioning was not working, and when I asked about it, they said it was broken. After mentioning that we felt cold at night, they provided a small heater, which worked well, and given the size of the room, it was sufficient. Arrived at midday and wanted to leave a small case there until I could check in later. Could not enter the hotel and was standing outside with three other ladies wishing to do the same thing. I was told that I would be given a code to enter the hotel at 3pm. I received the code at 7.20pm and by that time I was so disgusted with the lack of help I booked another hotel. I never went into the hotel and would tell anyone else to avoid it like the plague.

Horrible. The carpet is disgusting in hallways. Everyone states they didn’t get the email for check in and same with me. You have to call or what’s app to get codes but arriving abroad, you better have your SIM card figured out or in trouble. The code to get into my room was wrong, I received a five digit code but the lock box was only four numbers. The place was disgusting and there were either blood handprints on the curtains or chocolate, it was disgusting. There wasn’t even a hand towel in the bathroom. After a three minute shower, the basin was almost overflowing and there were big patches of mold in the shower. The chair in the room also had a big blood stain on it. The whole place would benefit from a magic eraser taken to the walls. My room faced the street and it was so loud, I thought my windows were open, when I pulled back the blood stained drapes, I was surprised to see the window closed. Would NEVER recommend or stay again.

Stained bedsheets, shower head came off the wall, hard to get in touch with someone (front desk is open from 12pm to maybe 4pm). No elevators. Nice apartment “hotel” if you’re on a budget, but you get what you paid for.
