We didn't have wifi or TV in the room. The shower had no close glass so the water would go everywhere.

Amazing place , you will all you need ! We have seen auroras outside our cabin which was spectacular experience . Fire place and sauna was a big bonus. Highly recommend, we will definitely come back !

Loved this beautiful cabin, one of the nicest places I've stayed. Had all amenities you could ask for and more, plus a sauna. Cosy decor and loved the fireplace and the balcony overlooking the lake. Cabin was very clean and great location close to the centre of Akaslompolo. Hope I can stay here again some time.

It had all what you need and very warm. We had a nice stay.

The property was like home from home as it had everything we needed during our stay and more!! All the mod cons like washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker and even things like electric whisk!!! The property was very clean and all the bed linen and towels were fresh. The bathrobes were a nice touch and also the welcome pack which included coffee and local handmade biscuits which were delicious. The only downside was the underfloor heating was on and it was June so it was hot and there were no air conditioning and no fan. The checkin tine was late, 5pm and checkout early, 10am but we knew this before we booked so no justification to complain about this. Alll in all a wonderful property and would highly recommend for couples or families.

Stayed at 32sqm apartment called "Musko 2". Really conveniently located right between the skiing centre and Äkäslompolo center (Jounin kauppa). Instant access to cross-country and backcountry skiing as well as mountain biking tracks. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Really nice apartment with a well equipped kitchen. Nice fireplace and OK sauna, too. Suits well for solo travelers, couples and small families with a kid or a few. The only downside of my visit was that it was way too short. I only stayed for three nights, so it was a rather quick trip. Can't wait for the next time! If you're into outdoor activities, Ylläs is THE place to go in Finland!

The place was nice and cozy, we really appreciated the sauna and fireplace! It was also quiet and clean.

The place is very tidy and equipped to high standard. The location is close driving distance to shops and slopes. Our main gripe is that the internet was down on the day we arrived in the evening; we called about it the first thing in the morning, got acknowledgement and confirmation that someone would look into it. Three days, on our check-out, the internet still didn't work. For us, this was most inconvenient as we were in this property to isolate until we'd had sufficient coronavirus tests done and could join a larger group, and not being able to work meant we were hoping to work! Video calls when you're tethering on your phone are not so good.

Keittiössä ym kaikki tarpeelliset varusteet. Hyvä sijainti latujen vieressä. Varauserittelyssä voisi lukea että mökin osoite ei ole se mikä ilmotuksessa näkyy, se on vain avainten hakupaikka. Parven portaiden liukuesteteipit olisi tosi hyvä uusia, nyt hiukan vaaralliset portaat.

Mökit eivät sijaitse annetussa osoitteessa. Osoitteeksi on annettu avainten luovutuspiste. Sijainti 1-2km. annetusta osoitteesta. Kuumalla säällä mökissä on kuuma. Puitteet muutoin ok.

Erinomaisesti varusteltu mökki hyvällä sijainnilla. Pyykinpesukone. Viilennyksenä tuuletin. Vaikka ulkona oli +30C mökki pysyi siedettävän lämpöisenä. Vahva suositus!

There was no response to e-mails informing of late arrival. A call on the day itself solved it, but response to e-mail would have prevented some frustration. Otherwise a very good stay and seemingly renovated place exceeded expectation.

Superfin stuga med väl utrustat kök och diskmaskin. Vi lyckades aldrig hitta något wifi men efterfrågade inte hjälp med att lösa det så det är inte säkert att det var svårlöst. Lite lurigt att hitta kontoret för att hämta nyckeln. Det ligger till höger om uteserveringarna och är det obemannat ringer man bara och får en kod för att hämta nyckeln i en brevlåda.

Holiday Club Ylläs has several different accommodation possibilities in different locations in Äkäslompolo, Ylläs. I booked "Huoneisto, 1 makuuhuone, sauna (40.5 m2, P6 KES)" which means an apartment, 1 bedroom, sauna, 40.5 square meters. This Kesänki apartment (KES refers to Kesänki, I think) is actually a villa or more precisely half of a semi-detached log house. I think that Kesänki is similar to Kuer but Kesänki has forest view and Kuer has partial lake view. Both of them are good for 1-4 or even 6 people. There are steep stairs in these apartments and so they aren't accessible for wheelchairs and they may be difficult for small kids, too. These log apartments are excellent with all modern facilities, e.g. an air source heat pump, a complete tableware, a dishwasher, a gas grill and a washing machine. Even two normal bicycles were available but it was hard to find keys from the vestibule. The location is excellent, less than two kilometers from the center of Äkäslompolo village (Jounin kauppa) and 800 meters from the nearest bus stop (Äkäshotelli). So it is easy to travel here by public transport. I took a train from Helsinki to Kolari and then a bus from Kolari to Äkäslompolo. Very good hiking trails, biking trails and in winter cross-country skiing tracks start from the lake shore, 100 meters from the apartment. So this apartment is perfect both for summer and winter activities.

Nice apartment for a really reasonable price in a good location within walking distance of everything you need. The only problem is the lack of communication. We were informed by email that we would have to change cabins mid-holiday with no further information about changing keys, timing, how to handle our luggage etc. I had to write an email (no reply), phone (no one answered) and go there in person to organise the change.
