We booked this hotel so that we could have a chillout following a climb of Mont Blanc. PRO'S = Very clean and modern throughout. Nice pool area and outdoor dining area. Helpful and friendly reception team. Bedrooms are modern, comfortable, and very clean. CONS = Hospitality could be so much better. When we stayed the temperature was around 30+ degrees so very hot - the hotel does not offer drinks before 4pm and when asked the staff were reluctant to even provide a soft drink. The outdoor dining area is lovely and yet the hotel does not serve lunch!! this could be a real money maker for them and an obvious addition if they could be bothered. The hotel is completely on its own and so has a captive audience - there are literally no other options for food or drink in the area and that includes shops. Overall we liked the hotel but it could be so much more. The man in charge of the restaurant should also learn to smile as he was particularly miserable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, our room was not a 4 star. Maybe 2.5 - 3 star. The advertised spa and hot tub are an additional charge of 20 Euros per person per hour, which was not evident in the hotels.com feature. The breakfast was very good. This hotel is a long way out of town, which would have been fine, if the hot tub was included in the price...

Hôtel offers standard rooms and superior rooms with balcony. However the room I was offered to begin with I would describe as a standard room with balcony. In my view just because a room has a balcony does not make it superior if it is the same size as a standard. Thankfully the hotel rectified this situation after the first night which was appreciated.

We recently stayed at this hotel in early September and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were incredibly cordial and welcoming. Despite it being the beginning of the month, there were many groups of tourists, which added to the lively atmosphere. One of the perks of staying here is that the hotel offers a train card, which was very handy for traveling between Vallorcine and Chamonix — a great bonus for exploring the area. We were quite pleased with the hotel, though we did encounter two minor issues. First, our room was extremely hot, and there was no air conditioning, which made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep at night. Second, the swimming pool is closed whenever it rains, which was a bit disappointing. Despite these small inconveniences, if these issues aren’t deal breakers for you, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The overall experience was positive, and the location and service were excellent.

We found the hotel to be very poorly run. On the second day the room was made up. Damp towels were put on top of the beds, used coffee cups were left, coffee and sugar wasn’t replaced. The dining area for breakfast was poorly run. Jars of jams had run out and not been replaced. Tables were left dirty, floor was sticky. Overall this hotel is poorly run, understaffed and the staff that do work there don’t do the job properly. I would choose another hotel if I were you.

Great hotel with stunning views of Mont Blanc! Great breakfast buffet, great parking, nice quiet location. It’s about a 10 minute drive to the heart of Chamonix and l’aiguille de Midi. So if you want a hotel outside of the busy area but close and convenient, this is for you.
