Steps from Anvers metro station, you can go anywhere and everywhere with ease if you have Hotel Gerando as your base. Look up and there she is, Sacré-Cœur. Walk up and enjoy the stores, the view and one of the most charming little pockets of Montmartre. Simply amazing. BUT what makes this hotel truly special is the staff and the top notch service they provide.

Old hotel in dire need of refurbishment like many hotels in Paris. You definitely get what you pay for which isn’t much. It was decent for the price paid, the room was clean though noisy if you stayed right next to the stairs. There is an elevator, which is great for older Parisian buildings, but had in the inconvenience of being in between floors so you still had to go up a flight of stairs to reach each floor. Wifi worked great.
