Hotel Rochester Champs Elysées

Room was large with 2 windows looking into court yard . Doorway into bathroom was quite narrow, could be an issue for larger people. Bed was large and comfortable. Tea and coffee making machines in room. 5 min walk to champs élysées and all the designer shops. Buffet breakfast was very good,would definitely stay again

I cannot understand the high ratings they have been given. The room carpets were disgusting so the provided slippers were appreciated, even if they were 2 sizes too small. You will need them in the bathroom where the tile floor is sticky. This is likely atom all the dog urine in the streets and people walking in the room with their shoes on. The safe is 1/2 size and will not fit anything larger than a couple of kindles and your passports. I could not fit my iPad. The hotel WiFi is not secured (so anyone on the street can access their network and your devices). Use a VPN service. We requested a queen bed, there is none. What they do is put two beds together and use King sheets to hide the seam. The advertised airport shuttle sounds like it is complimentary, but in the details they state a surcharge which is $140 Euro. The way it is presented is very misleading. Any hotel could claim that they have a shuttle this way. But Expedia said this is “a rare find”. There are only 2 USB A charging stations at the desk (nothing bedside). Only 1 of the two ports worked for me. The breakfast is nothing special and we found the inlets down the street at Le Ponthieu was a better option for an omelette and croissant. The TV service for English speakers is basically limited to news channels, and they are euro centric. There are no streaming or on demand services available.

Lovely staff, good breakfast which you can decide to have when you arrive. Clean rooms. Great location. Reasonable size room. Would have been useful to have small evening room service options but lots of options nearby regardless.

Loved the staff at breakfast; courteous and professional. There were many food items available and they were delicious. Comfortable bed. Showers were awful. 1/2 glass door caused the floor to get wet and slippery. Front desk personnel were very rude when you ask them a simple question. They don't appear to enjoy their job. Will not spend my money there again even though the location is directly off Champs Elysees!

Overall the hotel was good. My checking in and out part could’ve been better. Checking in, it was my birthday and the staff member would’ve seen that when I handed my passport, I know it’s attention to detail but that’s something that was missed. Checking out, I did complain about noise coming from another room 2 days in an row between 1am-3am, and the staff member didn’t really acknowledge it, and was more worried about the new people who would have that room. Overall I’d say my experience was good but just a few things missed which would’ve made my experience a lot better. Good location, access to all the main tourist spots.

Good location, attentive staff, room well appointed with everything required plus a solid breakfast buffet served till 1:30.

Convenient and walkable to major street and landmarks

The only reason I rated overall 4 is that we had an issue that the neighboring rooms were making terrible noises middle of the night and smoking in the corridors. The reception as well as the concierge of the hotel did not respond. Which means I had to deal with it myself. This js not acceptable as it could have lead to a conflict or imagine there were an emergency but the reception does not respond. The reception lady apologized reluctantly next day. The rest and eapecially the breakfast was really good.
