Excellent location close to the Perrache train station and Vieux Lyon. Very walkable. Lots of dining options nearby. Staff at the hotel were fantastic, responsive and friendly. The reception and dining area were charming and designed to appeal. Breakfast was delicious!

Good value. Near a metro station but not as central as staying near Bellecour. Good experience but i was disappointed that: 1) i was told to bring,my car to the hotel to get instructions on parking but there was nowhere to stop at the hotel so i had to double -park which was extremely stressful and 2) i was given incorrect information about the closest grocery store

Very pleasant stay. We chose this hotel because it is close to the part of the river Rhone from which river cruises depart and return. It is across the bridge on the peninsula but it was an easy walk with our luggage. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful and breakfast was very good. The hotel allowed us to leave our luggage for free for several hours on the day of our cruise, when we could not board until after 3pm, and we used their services on our return (for a fee) to store our bags until the evening because we had a very late flight. The hotel is about a 5-7 minute walk from the nearest metro stations (either Lyon Perrache or Ampere Voctor Hugo.

Hotel Charite worked well for us. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The double room was smaller than expected from the photos. Was tight for our luggage. The Bathroom lacks some features and amenities, but works fine. Location is right next to train station but you only hear trams on occasion (we stayed just Saturday night).

We highly recommend this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful to us especially because our command of French is very limited. The room was charming and very comfortable, very clean and quiet. The breakfast included was perfect and made the mornings start just right. The hotel is located in a perfect area for taking advantage of great food, wonderful museums, shopping and the metro/tram is very close. If we are ever to return to Lyon, this will be our top choice in hotels. Merci beaucoup Hoteleo Charite!

A simple hotel at the end of the road that leads to everything. Easy walking from there. The staff were more than nice. I practiced my French but they also spoke English. For the price it was amazing. I stayed six nights.
