Hôtel Mercure Mont-Saint-Michel

This hotel was very clean and updated. Walking distance from Mont Saint Michel. There is a bus to drive you to the Mont instead of walking right in front of the hotel. Super friendly staff!

Excellent hotel, do not miss their wonderful breakfast spread. The only thing is the AC didn’t seem to work.

Convenient place to stay close to visit to Mont Saint Michel. Had dinner at rest which was delicious. Shuttle bus to site was a good way to get close.

This hotel (if you’re from the US, it’s more a motel than a hotel) was a good option near MSM. For the two days we were there, it was a perfect balance of price and quality. It’s on the tram line to the island, but far enough away to offer food options and shopping. Pay attention to your email if you’re staying there. The parking is very hotel convenient, but the process to get to the hotel (and your parking) is complicated, and will be wmailed to you.

Great place to stay to see Mont St. Michel. The shuttle pulls right up across the street and takes you across the bridge. Short walk to the site. We arrived late and a pleasant desk person who spoke English greeted us.

The property was comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly. It was very close to Mont St-Michel. There were limited restaurant options near the hotel and what was available were pricey and not fantastic food. I would definitely stay there again, however.

Very nice hotel. Room was a good size. Buffet breakfast was good. Within walking distance to the Abbey. Transportation to the Abbey also available free of charge. Would choose this hotel again.

The area where hotel is is behind a barrier and the hotel provide an access code in order for you to retrieve an access card. It costs €12.50 Each time you leave, so if you leave and enter twice in a day, that is 2 x €12.50. If you are there for more than one day it is min €12.50 per day. Area is lovely and quiet around the hotel. Hotel itself is clean and basic, restaurant is fine too. Loads of parking. There is a shuttle bus to the Mont every few minutes, very handy. Be prepared to walk back as it gets really busy on way back. There are a number of restaurants nearby, all associated with hotels and a snack bar am road the road. As you can imagine everything is a little bit pricey in the shop, water, chocolate, etc. I believe most of the businesses in area are owned by one of two individuals, the Lord Mayor and ex Lord Mayor. Staff at hotel were friendly too.
