Location was good easy train stop 1 block from the hotel to navigate the city. Small rooms.clean. We paid for the breakfast which was satisfactory and great way to start the day before touring. Last minute planning and overall satisfied.

Pros: Friendly staff that speaks English well. There are snacks available in the lobby area until late at night. The room had a small fridge with drinks that are free to enjoy. There are restaurants nearby within a short walk. Ubers will pick you up right outside and are cheaper than cabs. You are also fairly close to the metro and train station. There was a small elevator for those who didn't want to lug their suitcases up their narrow stairway. Be prepared for small rooms but adequate if just staying overnight for 2 people. Cons: Super loud street noise even though we were told the windows were soundproof. It was chilly outside because we stayed in December, but the room was very hot. The staff was accommodating and said they would turn off the heat to the room. They have air conditioning but it was shut off for the season. If you can't sleep when it's too warm (in winter) and didn't like a lot of street noise and sirens, this isn't the place for you but we were only there overnight.

The hotel is very clean and quiet, staff is very nice and accomodating (five stars for Emma), breakfast was very good. Close to dinning options and metro stations. Overall, a perfect place to stay for visiting Paris.

This is a great place to stay in Paris. We have stayed here twice. The location is convenient - 7 min walk to a Metro station, 30 min walk to the Louvre, etc. It is a nice neighborhood being a little removed from the hectic center of town, but with plenty of bars and restaurants close by. The rooms are very small but quiet and comfortable (the AC works great!). The breakfast was nice and worth the additional cost. They offer free snacks and coffee in the late afternoon and evening - a nice touch. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here and will come back for sure.

We has a pleasant two night stay at Hôtel Palm - Astotel in March. It had all the standard touches you can expect from an Astotel: A good breakfast, the minibar in the room with free soft drinks, tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks provided free of charge at the reception after 2pm in the afternoon. The room was a good size for Paris, but suffered from lack of storage space. We had room 201 which was great for us as it faced the inner yard. In any case Rue De Maubeuge is not a very busy street so traffic noise should not be a problem in any of the rooms. The only little complaint was that the courtesy tray in the room with tea, coffee and milk was not replenished for the second night. However, we decided not to complain as we could get tea and coffee downstairs in the common area. We would happily stay at Hôtel Palm - Astotel again.
