Nothing is as it is represented on the website.The rooms are tiny. Showers are tiny and difficult to use. Basically it spoiled my trip to Mont Saint Michel. I would never go back. Also they continuously sent messages on French despite my requesting multiple times that they use English. Unfortunately ther other locations at Mont Saint Michel are no better!!

Loved our stay at this hotel.

Clean room, nice location

The room and place has seen better days. The breakfast was great, parking was annoying because we needed a code to access the site and they never sent it. Sucks the room had no ice anywhere.

Amazing location and opportunity to explore Mt St Michel in peace and quiet.

Only two issues at this hotel: The carpet was dirty to the point it felt dirty, and the picture for the room online showed a view from the windows of the bay. The room was in the back of the hotel and the window faced the wall of the walkway directly below, not facing the village or the bay. Was told by reception that I reserved a “village view” room, which I didn’t. Nowhere on the reservation did it ask me if I wanted a bay view or village view. Reception said there were no bay view rooms. For our 40th wedding anniversary this was our experience. At least we were able to see the Abbey. So, be careful when reserving and make sure you confirm your room’s location specifically.

Great location. Clean rooms. Old and tired looking but location makes up for it. Only thing bad was their arrival and check in. We had to wait over an hour before we were given a gate code just to drive to the property. We called. We texted. No answer. So sat at Faye waiting and waiting. They need a better system to make entrees easty for their customers

We expected the room and bathroom to be small, which they were, so no surprises there. The room was very warm once we closed the windows, though, and there was no air conditioning so we had trouble sleeping. We could've left the windows open, but given that the hotel is right at the entrance of the Mont, it's quite loud outside. Breakfast was chaotic and there was a very loud fire alarm going on for a very long time in the breakfast room, which the staff did nothing to stop. It's an average place to stay for one night, but I wouldn't go back.

We reserved with La Mere Poulard but our room was actually at the Ermitage Hotel which was wonderful. Lots of steps both to get to the hotel and to get to our floor inside the hotel (no elevator in hotel) which we didn’t mind but could be an issue for some.

The location, restaurants and breakfast were wonderful. The bed and pillows definitely need improving.

The location was pretty cool.

Disappointed with our room! We chose a room with the sea view from the photos on the Hotels.com website when choosing the room. These are not the photos of our room though. There is a view of a brick wall not the sea, through the other window you can see part of the terrace that is badly maintained and has a bad smell when opening the window. Terrible sewerage smell in our bathroom, which we had let them know on the first day, but nothing could be done. There are stains throughout on the carpet and chair. Definitely lack of maintenance in these rooms. Understanding it is old, but not well maintained. Other rooms are well maintained and look lovely. We are informed there were no other rooms available for our stay unfortunately. No option to change rooms. The Hotel said it is a booking problem, but the cleanliness is a hotel problem.

The location was the best attraction!

Great option if you stay at Mont Saint Michel

Had a nice stay. As anticipated, there are alot of steps to arrive at the hotel, depending on the building. Recommendation is to travel light! No amenities other than restaurant. Again, expected. The room and bathroom were very well-maintained.

The staff was very helpful. The rooms are dated and bare. Be prepared for steps! The arrangements to check in, and be able to park our rental securely before taking the shuttle to the island, was extremely convenient!

Great breakfast, loved staying overnight at Mont st Michel. Awesome that the room was ready when we arrived early. Quick and easy check in and checkout.

Excellent! Pay attention to directions for hotel room. Hahaha. We walked the whole place with all of our bags. Up and down stairs and back to the start to do it again. The build we stayed in was about 50 feet from room you get the keys in. The extra was our fault. Mont Saint Michel. Is a lot of stairs up and down. Just understand, if you are out of shape, it will be tough. We knew this and still hiked it again(without the bags). It was beautiful!!! Day and Night! We also opted for the full board to included dinner and breakfast was included with room. Remember Full board does not mean anything on the menu. It includes certain items. We opted for the omelette. There are many other things to choose that cost extra. In all we loved everthing about the place.(except the hike with bags)

The room was great, just be prepared to climb some stairs. The entrance to the hotel was very convenient and the staff was very nice. We are very happy with our choice.
