Nice and modern room

L’hôtel était correct dans l’ensemble, mais certains points doivent être améliorés. Le Wi-Fi était très lent, la chasse d’eau fonctionnait à peine et la douche n’avait presque pas de pression. En revanche, j’ai apprécié de pouvoir faire le check-in plus tôt, c’était très agréable.

Nice size room with large shower. Clean. Room from road was quite loud, and bathroom door wouldn’t lock. Location of hotel is excellent with train station and shopping street just a few minutes walk away.

I loved the room, I felt safe & it was sooo cozy, especially the bed. You are in the centre of everything, so if you like the meditarrian urban charme, then this hotel is perfect. The room is dark, small and unclean. This is not same as I order which showed on the website. They only said no room to changed and they totally breached the selling condition. Long time customer relationships with hotel.com. This is really disappointed me and hotel.com fraud selling. I am silver member. No breakfast and upgrade my room. And they gave me more worse than I booked.

The room was very clean and the staff helpful and nice. The location was perfect! The only downfall is the rooms had a very particular odour that was very hard to ignore.

I wish the breakfast was complimentary.

I guess you get what you pay for. The location of this hotel was good. It was a 20 to 30 minute walk to old town niece. Unfortunately, when we got onto the elevator, we were overcome with a foul odor. I’m guessing it was sewage. I don’t wanna be too critical because I haven’t stayed at other hotels in the area and this might be a common problem. But I didn’t see any attempt to mask it with air freshener, etc. Our room was clean, but again the bathroom, stank of either mold, mildew or sewage. We kept the bathroom door closed at all times so that the smell would not get into the bedroom. Again, I would’ve fought that a can of air freshener would’ve been present in the bathroom under those circumstances. We also had an extremely noisy neighbor who stayed next to us. It seemed as if he was screaming on the phone or someone else to all hours of the night. I’m not sure if the walls were paper thin or he was just really loud, but he kept us awake as did a horrible grinding sound that went off about every hour. I’m not sure if it was from pipes rattling every time a toilet flushed or a sink was turned on, or was the sounds of Bathroom fans grinding. But it was enough to wake us up. So needless to say, our nights were not very restful. Other than that, the staff seemed nice and the beds were comfortable, and the location was good.

The room was very basic, with walls so thin that you could hear every word from the room next door. The bathroom was extremely small and nothing like the pictures shown online.

Our room has seawage smell and none of the staff addressed it after informing them about the condition of the room.

Room was very small. Towels smelled like vinegar. No conditioner. Shampoo and hand soap bottles are the same. Was not a comfortable stay. The only good thing is that it is a short walking distance to the train station.

Don’t stay here. The WiFi does not work! And I asked them to help me with it and every night the answer was there is nothing they could do. Horrible staff. And you can hear everything that goes on in the rooms surrounding you.

Close to tram and train station, very clean

Unfortunately, my stay at Hotel Saint Gothard was extremely disappointing. While the room was somewhat modern and generally clean, it looked nothing like the photos online. It was also extremely small — there was not even space to fit the two suitcases we had without blocking the walkway. The room had a persistent musty odor that smelled of cigarettes. The hotel staff appeared inattentive and unprofessional, often sitting in the lobby vaping and chatting with friends. When I requested extra towels at 3pm (as my room had not yet been serviced), I was told there were none available and was advised to walk through the hotel floors myself to find a maid. The facilities were also unacceptable. The television did not work, the Wi-Fi never connected despite being advertised, and the automatic lights in the hallways did not function half of the time, leaving the corridors in complete darkness. The bedding had stains, and even after a six-night stay, the stain was still there, indicating that the sheets were never changed throughout my whole stay. Overall, this property fell far below expectations and did not meet the standards of comfort, cleanliness, or service that were promised. I would not recommend this hotel.

What I booked/pictures and the room I got was not the same. 160 euros per night for terrible wifi, no coffee machine in rooom etc was not worth it.
