Saint Gothard Nice

The room was very basic, with walls so thin that you could hear every word from the room next door. The bathroom was extremely small and nothing like the pictures shown online.

Our room has seawage smell and none of the staff addressed it after informing them about the condition of the room.

Ser pænt ud på billeder, men de fleste værelser (i hvert fald på 4. sal) er ikke meget ovet 10-12 kvadratmeteer Og moderniseringen ligner på flere områder en gang salgslakering. Eneste formidlende omstændighed var en lille terrasse, der ser ud til at høre til de fleste værelser på 4 sal. Den var guld værd, sselv om det var lille. Sengene på værelset - alle værelser har enkeltsenge - er også helt ok. Hotellers placering er til gengæld fremragende. Gaderne omkring hotellet er ikke turistede og man er tæt på sporvogn, busser og tog - men kan i realiteten gå til det meste. Også de gode forretninger. Prisen ligger i overkanten af priserne på 3-stjernede hoteller. Kan man leve med den minimale plads, er hotellet ok.

Fint opphold! Romslig rom, rent, godt isolerte vinduer. Veldig sentral og praktisk beliggenhet i nærheten til kollektivtransport, kafeer, restauranter, butikker.

Good value for money. The room was clean and tidy, of decent size, with no single excess. Quite small batbroom (and shower!), but still do:able. However - the shower had very low water preassure. First I thought something was wrong, but the reception said that it was the water preassure in the block. Maybe because it is only(!) hotels there 🤔. The area is ok, even though it’s a few blocks north of where the action is in the city. This is my 6:th trip to Nice. I would stay here again if I would want a budget friendly hotel that is still very decent.

Room was very small. Towels smelled like vinegar. No conditioner. Shampoo and hand soap bottles are the same. Was not a comfortable stay. The only good thing is that it is a short walking distance to the train station.

Don’t stay here. The WiFi does not work! And I asked them to help me with it and every night the answer was there is nothing they could do. Horrible staff. And you can hear everything that goes on in the rooms surrounding you.

Close to tram and train station, very clean

Unfortunately, my stay at Hotel Saint Gothard was extremely disappointing. While the room was somewhat modern and generally clean, it looked nothing like the photos online. It was also extremely small — there was not even space to fit the two suitcases we had without blocking the walkway. The room had a persistent musty odor that smelled of cigarettes. The hotel staff appeared inattentive and unprofessional, often sitting in the lobby vaping and chatting with friends. When I requested extra towels at 3pm (as my room had not yet been serviced), I was told there were none available and was advised to walk through the hotel floors myself to find a maid. The facilities were also unacceptable. The television did not work, the Wi-Fi never connected despite being advertised, and the automatic lights in the hallways did not function half of the time, leaving the corridors in complete darkness. The bedding had stains, and even after a six-night stay, the stain was still there, indicating that the sheets were never changed throughout my whole stay. Overall, this property fell far below expectations and did not meet the standards of comfort, cleanliness, or service that were promised. I would not recommend this hotel.

What I booked/pictures and the room I got was not the same. 160 euros per night for terrible wifi, no coffee machine in rooom etc was not worth it.

Excelente custo benefício. O hotel fica próximo a estação de trem, o que facilitou nosso deslocamento para as cidades vizinhas e tbm da rua com comércio variado.

Clean and comfy bed. Great AC and good hot water. All you could really need for a very simple stay. The wifi was bad and the room was very tiny.

The hotel was in a great location, which is why I would recommend it overall. However, it’s better not to walk around alone at night. The place was clean and decent for the price and the short stay, even if it didn’t quite match the pictures shown online. The staff were friendly and helpful. The biggest downside was the internet – it was terrible and didn’t work at all during the first one and a half nights.
