This is a great location in the city because is near the train station (Hbf) where the S- & U-bahn, buses and taxis are plentiful. The staff were very helpful, the room was clean and nonsmoking. It is an older building and has an elevator, but there are often steps to negotiate on each floor.

Great location with hop on hop off bus opposite the hotel. You have to leave the key at reception if you go out of the hotel. Probably a good thing as a key is very heavy.

Hotel Review – Furst Bismarck, Hamburg Stay My recent stay in Hamburg was unfortunately disappointing. Upon arrival, the reception lacked warmth and hospitality, which set a rather unwelcoming tone. The room was located in a separate building from the main hotel, requiring a long walk and multiple flights of stairs. We had to carry our own luggage without any assistance, which was inconvenient and exhausting. The room itself had no air conditioning. Despite the cooler weather outside, the inside was uncomfortably hot. Only a small fan was provided, which did little to help. We opened the windows hoping for some relief, but instead were met with loud disturbances from outside—people shouting and using offensive language late into the night. We eventually had to shut the windows to get any rest. Overall, the lack of comfort, poor service, and noisy environment made for a less-than-pleasant stay. I hope the hotel makes improvements in guest hospitality and basic amenities.

An overnight stop with a four night stop to follow. Great position. No stairs at entrance. Lift availability to room as well as stairs. Reception area was busy with people checking in but flowed well and the reception staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel and staff were lovely, reception staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable however lack tea or coffee making facilities. The area around the hotel is full of beggars literally as we stepped onto the hotels frontage we were approached by two beggars. Walking in the street opposite the station was full of beggars. Obviously this is no fault of the hotel and does not reflect on the hotel. Our sleep was broken each night by violent shrieks outside the hotel. Homeless and drunks passing by. Again no reflection on the hotel part from its location, seems to be in and around homeless and drunks
