Bra hotell med lite gammeldags charm tvärs över gatan från Hauptbahnhof

The breakfast was pretty good. It would be even better if they had fruits and some healthier food. But I am aware that this is too much to expect from a hotel at this price range. They did their best to serve me bread without glutein. The room was rather simple but it was clean and the view was awesome. I wouldn't call it luxurious, but If you are looking for a hotel with a reasonable price, right at the heart of Hamburg, you must put this one at the top of your list.

This is a tidy little hotel with some architectural charm. The location is also great if you want convenient access to inter-city and local trains. It is literally across the street from the H’burg central station, so all the main U- and S-Bahn trains are within a two minute walk, or less if you’re not weighed down with bags or small children (I probably would not recommend it for those with small children). The proximity to the Hauptbohof station also meant a bit of hustle and bustle, but we did not find that a problem, and it came with some amenities (below). The desk staff were really friendly and accommodating, and we had no problems communicating with them in English (we don’t speak more than a few words of German, so we appreciated their friendly greetings in English). There is a major performing arts center (Shauspielhaus) a block away, so that meant that there were several good eateries within just a few steps of the front door (highly recommend Capri and Vesuvius, both Italian, and Schifferborse; and the breakfast at Mitte Hamburg about three blocks away is delightful—pro tip: get the fluffy pancakes!

Location (as I arrive and depart by train) is excellent. Neighborhood; not so much. Value for money is great; small room, friendly staff, clean room and good bed. Definetely coming back

Tolles Frühstück. Sehr freundliches Personal. Unterkunft sauber und es ist alles vorhanden, was man für 1 Nacht benötigt. Nächster Termin ist schon wieder gebucht. Trotz Bahnhofsnähe kein Lärm. TOP!

Das Hotel liegt zentral direkt am Hauptbahnhof und eignet sich hervorragend um Hamburg zu erkunden. Bei Check-In gibt es noch eine Karte für den ÖPNV kostenlos dazu. Das Personal war sehr hilfreich und zuvorkommend. In der Nacht kann es auf Grund der Lage mal etwas lauter werden, trotz geschlossener Fenster.
