We just stayed here for a week,lovely spot! Food was great. Service was good. Here are the only downfalls (but none ruined our time), these are just heads up for others:
It is definitely out of the way, you need a car. We paid between 15-20 euro each way for a cab to the train station or town.
The rooms are warm, no a/c and if we left patio door open, we got mosquitoes (and a couple wasps). BUT the rooms are lovely!
Breakfast was good, you had to pre book it. A little on the pricey side especially if you weren’t overly hungry, you still paid the 15 euro. One morning my husband had only coffee and one egg, but everything was fresh, amazing scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and breads. It was good for sure, if you were hungry.
We did miss the convenience of having a coffee maker and fridge in our room, especially staying for a week, just 2 coffee in the morning if we skipped breakfast was almost 7 euro.
We have no regrets booking this place just should have done a little more research.

It was a lovely place. We were stranded in Munich Airport from my snow storm. We were able to find this lovely place through hotels.com. They were warm and welcoming, to cold and tired sranded travelers. The food was outstanding there and they were super helpful with the German menu that we couldn't understand since we speak it only English. I would stay there again. Next time I'm in Munich I know I will really enjoy being at this hotel again.

We were stuck at Munich airport due to snow storm and after many searches found Hotel Strasshof had rooms. We got checked in very fast. Hotel did not raise rate to take advantage of stranded passengers like us. Thank you for calling taxi for me in the morning!

The best German hotel I have stayed at in 10 years of travelling to the country. Modern rooms, with a cabin feel. Great beds, with blackout blinds.. I slept 12 hours straight. Would recommend greatly. They also helped me to pay for a taxi, where they requested cash.

Fantastic Bavarian hotel.
We didn’t have lunch or dinner though it was very full of local residents which tells you everything!
We didn’t have tea/coffee facilities in the room which would help as hotel shut at 10.30pm.
Checkin limited to 10pm and process for getting the keys can be better with modern phone technology.

Our receptionist was very abrupt when I questioned an extra guest charges on their Suite-was up to 4 people-we were 3. She talked to another lady in German and they both ultimately pointed out on my copy I presented the "price based on one person" at bottom of the page I hadn't seen. I sincerely apologized since I didn't see that earlier but they walked away.

We stayed one night in July on our way to Italy. Very nice room (Junior suite). Conveniently close to the motorway, but very quiet. The breakfast was superb. We also had dinner in the biergarten - very nice, traditional Bavarian food.

The check-in process was quite easy. Staff was fairly friendly and the room was spacious and clean. The WiFi was sketchy at best. Would not recommend this hotel unless you are traveling for pleasure and WiFi is not important to you.

The hotel was in the country. Easy access to the Autobahn. They said they had WiFi, but we were not able to connect after several attempts and conversations with the manager. Other reviewers had the same problem.
