Nice hotel, good service, no ac but they do have fans you can request. Room was big and comfortable. There was construction being done on the road next to the hotel wich it made it noisy and because of the metal bridges and panels it was very noisy at night aswell. Overall good hotel for the price.

The staff was terrible when we got in the room was the furthest from the elevator and we asked to change rooms and they said no and their were plenty of rooms that they could have changed, because you could see all the rooms that hadn't checked in yet. the place needs a serious update it smells. There was mold in the bathroom that was painted over.

The hotel is pretty old and not kept up. The carpets were very dirty and had sticky stuff on it. The blow dryer was broken and so was the water kettle. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. They really need to upgrade that entire hotel. Breakfast was also very expensive. The ladies at the desk were nice and that was the only highlight.

If you want luxury, this is not for you. If you want amazing views of attractions from your window, this it not for you.
If however you want a clean, comfortable bedroom with shower and a place to have a meal and use as a base very close to the city centre, THIS IS FOR YOU. The hotel have a modern feeling restaurant and reception area, the rooms and hallways however are looking a bit dated but we'll maintained and we'll kept. Best way I can describe it is a modern looking budget hotel with 80s / 90s decor. U bahn 5 mins walk, tram 5 minute walk, Castle 2 minutes walk. It's a bargain of a hotel.
The only real complain I have is lack of air-conditioning. I can imagine it be really warm mid summer.

The hotels location is its main selling point. Close to old town and castle. The rooms were a good size. Beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was fine. The staff were pleasant and professional. Amenities were closed due to covid which isnt the hotels fault. Good value for money. The hotel is dated in terms of furnishings and decor but overall would recommend this hotel for a short break in lovely Nuremberg.
