This hotel has to be one of the best examples of price/performance that I have stayed in in Germany. The staff was awesome, the breakfast buffet was the best I have had in a while, the price point of the rooms was great. Also the location to the Wittenberg Platz UBahn, directly next to KaDeWe and the Kufürstendam, and 10-15 minutes to the Aquarium and Zoo makes the Mercure unbeatable in my eyes. Thank you to everyone there!

The room was modern, spotless, and comfortably spacious, with a balcony offering an amazing view. The heater worked perfectly, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I’d absolutely stay here again on my next visit!

the good: the room was great, had a view of the square; the breakfast; and almost all the staff (Stephanie, Nadine, & Marko) the bad: Mohit at the front desk. I have stayed in over a hundred hotels and he is the rudest staff member I have ever encountered. By far. When i walked up with my luggage he said "There are no rooms available". A bizarre thing to say. It was downhill from there. He was rude every time we spoke, and I was always pleasant. I was on vacation. That is not someone who should be the face of the hotel.

Very comfortable room with comfortable bed and quality furnishings, with heavy, solid windows and door which helped reduce noise from outside the room. Friendly, welcoming, helpful staff and a great central location. We were pleased that we chose this hotel.
