Have stayed here before as convenient for business office I am visiting, otherwise outside central city area. Had a quiet room at the back overlooking the race course which otherwise is only reason to stay here. Modern business hotel with efficient polite desk staff - pretty much as you would expect in Germany. Clean and comfortable, reasonable breakfast.

I miss placed my purse which I worried might have been left at a store which was closed. Mr Freitas graciously called the police office to see if it was turned in. He and the hotel staff were most gracious. It did turn up hanging on a chair under my shirt. This was 36 hours after a really rough flight through LHR and two seniors struggling with severe jet lag. We felt everyone was most helpful and the room was absolutely perfect for our needs.

Fantastic stay, we arrived late with our 3 children after a long journey and the receptionist couldn’t have been more welcoming. Really clean comfortable rooms and particularly liked the addition of coffee and water. Excellent value, would recommend and would stay again.

arrived and all rooms had only 1 bed, I'd specified 2x separate beds in each, never had any issues at lots of other hotels on this tour, Night porter was great. only 1 lift working & super slow.in room no AC working, breackfast was good though

As a regular business traveler to Europe, this property feels more like a 3 star hotel than a 4 star. Older, a bit run down hallways, elevators, and rooms. Both elevators broken while I was there, key card magnets were flawed. Had some other issues, and the manager responded well. Overall it was okay, but the 4 star expectation/price didn't match the experience.

Stayed here a few times with business as it is located close to where i work and is convenient. Rooms are large and airy although a bit warm and the road facing rooms get a bit of noise if you open the window. 'View' rooms overlook the racecourse and are better in my opinion. Restaurant menu could do with changing more often for frequent visitors but food is good and service is very good.

This hotel was in a location suitable for a business trip. It is quiet despite being on a main road. The hotel has a bar and restaurant, and these were really quiet. Beer and wine selection is good. Food selection is small, but the food was good. My biggest moan is that on a double bed I had a single duvet and 2 pillows and I was only given 1 set of towels. When I've travelled I often had 2 showers - one the night I arrive and then the next morning. However the duvet did really hinder my sleep as I just didn't have enough spare for the luxury of a warm back!!

All staff (reception, restaurant, events) were excellent & pleasant. Restaurant had a buffet with a wide array of healthy & tasty food for breakfast & lunch. Rooms are dated but bed is comfy. Location is out of the way 15 min subway ride to city center
