The Castro Hotel was outstanding in every possible aspect. It was magnificently restored, the amenities were superior and the staff could not do enough to make our stay more than comforting!

I’m constantly amazed and disappointed in European hotels: (1) there are no doors or privacy in the toilet area, (2) in the 21st century can’t you make the toilet flush with a piece of toilet paper (?), (3) the shower has a 1” well that easily overflows, (4) the light switches are non-sensical, random, disorganized and cannot be figured out, (5) the A/C unit blew cold air up BEHIND the drapes (had to choose between a cool room and privacy). Positives: The breakfast area was very nice and the entire staff was great and accommodating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Castro Hotel. We would definitely recommend to friends. The rooms and facilities were wonderful. A special mention to Pepi who went well beyond to make our stay more Comfortable and memorable!

Beautiful accommodations and personal touches. The bed is cloudlike. The breakfast was beyond perfect. Will make this my place when i come back.

Outstanding hotel. The customer service is incredible. We went for our honeymoon and they made us feel so special and really looked after us. The spa was fantastic and could not speak highly enough. Will be retuning again. Thank you Castro Hotel for making our honeymoon so special.
