First of all, the good. The hotel is in an excellent location! Right where you want to be in town. The staff were so friendly and helpful! The hotel is very clean (read below though) and the room was well appointed. The breakfast buffet was good and had a large selection to choose from! Bed was very comfy, the linens soft, and the towels were fluffy!! I had dinner at the bar area and it was really good - i had pork katsu and it was a big portion, well presented in traditional Japanese style and was only $18, including unlimited ice tea!! Oh and the pool was great as well, big, crystal clear. The not so good; the property is feeling the effects of decreased tourism and or needs a good refurbishment. While it is very clean, there is chipping paint in lots of places, etc. like on exterior walls, the pool bottom, and other places. Despite that, the hotel is well appointed and clean amd friendly. I will stay here again!

Stayed 10 nights. You read that right. If you are diving it’s a good amount of time if not 3 nights would be good. It’s a dated hotel but the price is right! The pool and view and reef totally rocks and the location to restaurants and shops is awesome. The hotel is dated but we factored in a week of car rental and it’s a much better value than any hotel. Basically you can get hotel and car rental ( free covered parking) for the price of just the room for another hotel. If you are looking to impress go to the dusit next door. But you basically have all the restaurants and bars of the dusit for a hundred bucks less. Again rooms are dated but clean rooms. Went with infinity tower and full ocean view, buddy got the corner suite and that was more impressive. The view from our room was incredible. It’s so hot here you’ll want to got out early to the sights and spend the day in the room (hence the value of a good view) and head out in the afternoon. Remember I said the hotel is dated but the view fantastic. The beautiful reef is below and the infinity pool view is spectacular. I wouldn’t bother with hotels past the dusit as it’s a long hot walk to get to the restaurants. As for hotel restaurant and bars it’s really lacking but the mall is next door and an awesome breaky joint step from the hotel. The staff are super nice and they are very responsive to emails. Really appreciated the 5 gallon hot/cold water coolers in each room. Great value.will return.

Staff does a great job. Clean, friendly and helpful. While it is waterfront there are quite a few steps to get down to the beach, so if one has limited mobility be you should aware of that. The pool is lovely with a poolside bar and restaurant (pool needs a fresh paint job but it is clean and beautiful otherwise) There had been a typhoon, so things weren’t as beautiful as I imagine they are otherwise (a lot of broken coral, trees missing leaves, no flowers) so I’m trying to take that into account. The water in the bay was clear and gorgeous. We saw some tropical fish, I wish I’d gotten to go snorkeling (forgot my contact lenses so I couldn’t see if I did go 😂 and can’t snorkel with glasses) The hotel is just older and in need of some renovations, the owners really should invest more in bringing it back up to date because the location is great, close to the airport, view is spectacular and it is *almost* great but the price reflects that so it’s a great deal. Note that if there is an airport shuttle it wasn’t available when we needed a ride (I don’t remember…either there wasn’t one ever or it wasn’t available early morning for our flight time, not sure.) a cab from the airport costs as much as $35 even though it’s quite close. We used the one that had a stand outside the lobby when leaving and it was less, I think $25. So an airport shuttle is valuable if offered. Overall it was a relaxing stay, thank you.

If it weren’t for the island having power issues due to the storm, I would have given this hotel 5 stars. Room was nice and clean. Our AC was nice and cold! And I had a beautiful ocean view! I don’t notice any laundry bags, but it’s ok. Everything else was nice. Was kind of bummed that breakfast was an additional fee. Location was perfect! Enjoyed walking the strip! Staff was very welcoming!

The bedsheets had rust stain on them and it smelled moldy. It might be due to the super typhoon Bavi that passed through the islands. Outdoor pool was nice, amazing view of the beach from the balcony. The room was clean besides the rust stains and moldy smells on the sheets and the faucets.

Check in process was a little slow as check in was at 3pm & my room wasn’t ready until almost 5pm. I stayed in the infinity tower. (The side that looks more dated.) There was a musky type of feel in the room as the AC was leaking. There were several small roaches in my room. Overall , staff was nice & lobby was clean! But I do believe the more dated tower should be renovated so the price could match the quality . I probably wouldn’t stay there again but it’s there if you’re just trying to find somewhere to lay your head .

The staff was very pleasant to deal with but unfortunately the property was not like the pictures on line. We had to change our room as soon as we arrived as the electrical sockets were not working. The bathroom faucets were rusted and in poor condition. The AC in the lobby was not working for several days and the restaurant food was not edible. The building is in need of a serious maintenance as the balconies are falling appart and there are leaks near the elevators. The bottom of the pool needs to be repainted. Very disappointing.

One small issue I noticed was with the body wash in the bathroom. It seemed to be almost empty, and it took quite a few pumps before anything came out. I was able to use the soap instead, so it wasn’t a big problem, but I was wondering if the bottles are usually refilled between guests. Other than that, the beach access from the hotel and the oceanfront view were absolutely amazing.
