Excellent hotel for those who are on a budget. Good security and very quiet. The room is clean and tidy, including the toilet. They provide almost everything we need. The location is perfect for travelers. There are food/grocery shops below the building. The staff are nice and polite. Thank you Ate Love and Ate Josie for the hospitality. For all the staff a Job well done!

Run away! There are cockroaches on the bed. The sheets are dirty. They charged an additional HKD150 for cleaning. However, the room did not look clean. Fortunately, they let us leave our luggage for free. The elevator took a long time to arrive. The queue was long in the morning and evening. The location is very good. However, I would not give it 5 stars because the rating was raised to 5. It should not be 5 out of 10. I would give it 1 star.

Location-yes it’s okay because it’s very accessible. Building-do not expect too much, there's so many Indian sellers plus the building is too old. The room is okay, the air condition is new, they also have shower heater. However they will be asking you an additional HKD125 for the service charge which is not clearly stated in T&C’s. So for thrifty backpackers, make sure to bring extra money if you booked on this hotel!

This is my second time in this hotel. The rooms are always clean, sheets are very comfortable and the toilet is clean and functioning hot and shower. Maila's breakfast is not only affordable but has big servings of rice. Very delicious. She delivers breakfast to the rooms on time. Thanks Maila If you are looking for hotel that is comfortable and budget friendly. This is it. Nevermind the lobby, you will not be sleeping there.

Considering the worth of money you paid is somehow ok. We were given comfortable rooms enough for sleeping time because we’re out the whole time. The CR is also ok with good flow of water with no bidet. They charged us 15%. The way into our room is a little mess but who cares just go ahead at your room. The way into our room is little confusing but its ok because its secured. This hostel is ok for those who are in tight budget and contented with clean and secured but of little space.

The hostel/hotel actually has a good location and is close to a mall and mtr. They also provide hot water for coffee. I suggest you bring your own instant coffee or grounds. Though we didn't use their provided coffee, i'm a bit suspicious of its expiration and how long it has been sitting there. They also have mini refrigerators in each room and a big one outside. I suggest you bring your own three pronged adapter because they don't provide them for free to guests. The ones you can buy downstairs are overpriced (we bought one for 70 hkd and I believe that's too much because we bought one for half the price of that in the Philippines around 30hkd or 200 pesos). My complaint would be hygiene. For the six days that we stayed there not once did they change the sheets despite telling us at the reception about replacing them every two days. I noticed a smell to the room and to the sheets when we first went inside our room. The sheets smell used and not washed. They only collect trash if you put it outside the door. The rooms look smaller in person compared to the picture. Very little leg room and the bathrooms are small (at least for the family rooms we stayed in). The triple room had a slightly bigger bathroom than the family rooms but it isn't that impressive. They will also collect a 10% cleaning fee when you get there (we booked through app) so this is a warning for anyone who wants to book a room there upfront and won't go through a site. They will also collect a 100hkd deposit for the key cards. So be warned about that. We were also promised 4 free towels by the two female staff there but I never saw them in the reception again. It could be because they have shifts and we were always gone for most of the day but we couldn't get all the promised free towels from the other staff because they will charge you for towels. I suggest you bring your own towels, shampoo and bar soap because they provide them inconsistently (i booked three rooms and only one room had shampoo and in the room I stayed in there was only hand soap). Their heater also doesn't work properly. After a few minutes of using the hot water, it runs out and you'll get barely lukewarm water afterwards. The room also had orange/yellow lights. It was weird because the other rooms had white lights. One thing, some of the staff are helpful. Some of them and i'm grateful I could ask them for help when we got locked out of our room and when the keys wouldn't work to open the door. The hostels in chungking mansions should be your last option when booking a place to stay. We booked another one at first but got cancelled so we were desperately looking for a last minute hotel to stay in. I hope this review helps!

We had a pleasant stay here. Accomodating and kindness of receptionists (although they indians have a Filipino) I also do not expect that our room is nice and clean especially in CR and environment. He did not like it anymore. Refrigerator, heater and hairdryer. We were just nervous at first because of the Indians like their terrain and their bad smell. But if it's okay it's okay and it's too close to the stations of mtr and bus.

We just felt at home in this hotel! Nothing fancy but the room was okay and comfortable even for a family of 4. Everything was smooth from check in to check out, no issues at all. The best part of our stay was the good customer service of the receptionist and Ate Maila who made sure that we have everything that we need and was always very helpful esp with directions. 😉 Have already referred this place to my friends and will definitely stay here again.
