Staff was nice, for what we paid and only for 2 nights was fine. The only bad things were the smell on the entrance (due to the Kebab restaurant) and that they don't supply with shampoo or shower gel, just hand soap

Room was very clean! Had everything I needed! Staff was very helpful and friendly! They had different WiFi options they gave you and the WiFi work perfectly! I slept with my windows open every night and it was quiet and I felt very safe! The Lidl right by the front door was amazing for access to quick supplies as well as easy access to public transport right outside the front door!! Overall amazing service and amazing location!

This is a great option for a budget stay to explore Budapest. It has great links for public transport to help get around the city and is about 30 mins from the airport. It is a “get what you pay for” stay - so have realistic expectations!

The position of the building right next to central metro station is good but equally the adjacent trams make travel really easy. The building is old and tired (viz the lift) but the room was spacious and bathroom ok. Hot water excellent. The breakfast and washing services are reasonable value and staff accessible. And a cheap kebab guy is downstairs next to a convenient supermarket.

Location is nice you can walk to the most parts of the city from here, room was clean and tidy. Reception was nice and helpful

The room was clean and comfortable, shops and supermarket underneath hotel, bus stops and taxis right outside the front door, also tram stops and more bus stops just over the road in the big square area, also plenty of places to eat and drink near the hotel and in the square area, good location

Overall, we had a great stay at Omega Guesthouse. The front-desk staff were very friendly, and the location was perfect - right next to a metro and tram stop as well as a Lidl, in the city centre, so it was easy to get around. The bedroom, bathroom, and shared kitchen were clean. It was also nice and quiet, except for people coming through the main door into the kitchen area (which we were next to, so could have been just our room). We paid for the AC, which was 2 euros a night (approximately), which DID work well, so worth paying for. We did have a couple of issues during our stay. One, there was only one curtain on the curtain rail, not two, so we couldn't block out the whole window, and since we were on the ground floor looking into the communal space, it meant people could see into the room if they wanted to. Secondly, there was a bit of an insect problem, with mosquitoes in the room (although there's not much they could do about that I guess), and we came back one night to quite a few roaches or beetles (it was dark so couldn't quite see) in the communal courtyard. They did have exterminators around one of the days (for which we weren't given any forewarning until they were at our door). Overall, for the price, it was a great place to stay for the location alone. Plus, despite the minor issues, overall we found it to be very clean and comfortable. We would come back to stay (but maybe ask for a different room). Thanks for a great stay!

Close to the metro, it gets noisy at night with the tram operating all night

The entrance is actually very humble and almost hidden. They have elevator but there are still some steps between the floor and the elevator. Before check in time, they allow you to put your luggage in the locked dining room, which later became unlocked and unattended. The room is clean. The curtain couldn’t be closed.
