Great location - easy to walk everywhere. Finding parking throughout the city is a challenge but the room includes a binder with information including a parking map.

The stay was great. Loud music could be heard on Friday night until ~4am. Luckily we were on the fourth floor so it was manageable. Bathroom was small but worked. Location was great, but relying on a park house was unfortunate. Distance to popular Reykjavik destinations could not be better.

Very cozy property, quiet, clean, and centrally located. Owners were super responsive over email before and during our stay. Location can't get any better for Reykjavik. Would certainly stay there again.

Positive - close to downtown shops. Negative - on top of a bar with loud music that didn't close until about 5am. Loud music and loud drunks. Vibrations filtered up. Emailed company but no response. Douvet was stained. Disgusting.

Clean, comfortable, modern. Best thing was the washer AND dryer because we always plan to do some laundry during our travels. Great location right on the main tourist street, but it was never noisy. We had a small room with tiny bathroom—I usually hate tiny bathrooms, but this one was totally acceptable and nice and clean. We were on the top floor with a balcony in the shared kitchen/sitting area. For introverts, the shared area may not be great since other travelers may be there using the space. But we enjoyed having it.

Booked quadruple room to show up to a tiny room with a small bed and a couch. The bathroom was also outside of our room through shared areas, which was not specified on the website. The picture of the room on the booking clearly showed a room with two queen beds and a bathroom attached to the room. The confirmation also stated free parking outside, which was not the case. Called the on duty manager to see if there was anything else they can do. They didn't have any alternatives so they agreed to cancel the room and would allow hotels.com refund us. Hotels.com are saying the accommodation will not respond to them and as the booking has no cancellation within 24 hours, they will not refund us. Poor, poor service by the accommodation and hotels.com.
