Wonderful staff & Accommodations! All the staff was fabulous but I wanted to especially thank Marianna who assisted us when we arrived early. The hotel room was nice but we ended up moving to an apartment that was worth every Kronos. We had a kitchen with everything we needed to cook, washer/dryer combo, pull out couch so I didn't have to hear my husband's snore, and a fan! Highly recommend the hotel. Great location just down a block from the rainbow street leading up to the church. You will not be disappointed!

We’ve stayed here twice, the first time eight years ago. The first time there weee macaroons on a CV piece of black slate in the room when we arrived. Not this time. And last time there was a very big wooden door at the entrance that we liked and that was also missing. That said, those are very minor points. The staff is still very friendly and helpful. The location exceptional. The room was clean and comfortable. We hope to return to Iceland in a few years and we will definitely stay here again.

We found parking outside the hotel easy to drop off bags. The reception staff were lovely throughout. The lounge area was very relaxing. The room was slightly small for what we needed - only 2 drawers for clothes but plenty of hanging space. We would have struggled to stay longer than 2 nights. Bathroom was great. Our room (216) seemed to be very close to a club which didn’t close until 3am. Overall, hotel was nice, would have liked more sleep.

This hotel was a great choice for our stay in Reykjavik. Its location is fantastic, close to shops, restaurants, and sights. The staff is so nice too... one of the young ladies there even gifted our boy some Easter treats. Very sweet! Literally ;)

The staff was friendly and helpful with arranging travel and local activities. Our room was clean, comfortable, and modern. The breakfast was good each morning. The only less than ideal thing was the spa was just warmish instead of hot. The sauna was nice, though.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was really nice with something for everyone. It was also the cheapest meal in town. We did not eat or drink there otherwise. Downside = the bed was not comfortable. It was hard yet bouncy. We could feel the springs and every movement each other made. I still slept OK, but my husband did not, which made for a slightly cranky travel partner.

I would give this hotel 5 starts if it weren't for the extremely tiny space - both the room itself and the bathroom. I am a small person but I had a hard time fitting comfortably here. Otherwise it was a good hotel and the breakfast buffet was pretty good.

The breakfast was fresh. The room was overall clean. They seriously need to clean or replace the couches. The couch I had was filthy under the the pillows. The staff when checking in was pleasant. One cleaning lady was very kind. The others were not. If you go during the winter season don’t expect the snow to be cleared in front of the hotel. The cleaning people were loads one morning. Woke me up before 8, with the noise in the hallway. This should be required! Maintenance could have shoveled and cleared the entrance. Honestly the breakfast should have been included.
