God ferie. God morgenmad på hotellet.
Lobby med vandfald, meget fint.
Havde bestilt delux værelse.
Lys virker ikke, tv virker ikke, da de blev forsøgt ordnet gik det ud ca.gver 2-3 minut.
Stort hul i tæppet, lampe midt i rummet som man hele tiden slog hovdet ind i.
Sofa var fuldstændig udslidt. Sengen er en historie for sig selv. Madrassen passer slet ikke til rammen, stikker ud over kanten i siderne og når ikke enden af rammen i fodende, så der er et stort hul i enden af sengen ned i rammen til gulvet.
Madras er så slidt at man sover direkte oven på fjerde, ekstrem dårlig stand.
To bitte små vinduer der kunne åbnes som car ud til en baggård med pomfritkogeri i nærheden.
Hotellet ligger fuldstændig perfekt i centrum af Reykjavík.

Loved the spaciousness of the loft suites, was a great place to have our friends over for drinks before going out. With the cost of drinks in Iceland, well worth the upgrade. Location was fantastic for restaurants and bars, very short walks, yet quiet due to being slightly off the Main Street. Breakfast was also really nice (though the bacon was geared towards the Americans - streaky and crispy). Old harbour a 12 minute leisurely walk for boat trips. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This location is in the center of it all. The staff was adequate and helpful at times, downside is no one working the desk is from iceland and can give suggestions outside of popular tourist sights. The hotel is in need of room repairs that is my greatest concerns. My room had cracks everywhere, walls were damaged, and being on the ground floor is super loud even midweek.

This is a nice hotel very conveniently located to the walking area of Reykjavik. The room was small but adequate - sort of an attic type situation. The water pressure was good and the water was hot. The bed was comfortable. I did not find the front desk staff to be very helpful. Parking is complicated - you can only park in certain areas and you have to pay in an app. Front desk personnel were not very helpful in explaining how this worked. They did not offer information unless specifically asked about something. That said, we did enjoy a restaurant that one of them recommended. The major plus for this hotel is the location.

Our stay at the Þingholt by Center Hotels:
This hotel is very nice, and close to nearly all the things you would want to see in Reykjavik. We stayed in mid-May. Do not stay on the first floor! We had a room on the first floor and when we opened the window (and you will always open the window to help moderate the temperature of the room) we got all of the street noise - at 11:00 PM. There is also apparantly a kareoke bar at the end of the street that is "active" - i.e. loud -until about 1:00 AM. If we had been a floor higher I don't think we would have heard it as much.
We would stay again should we visit Reykjavik in the future - but on a higher floor or maybe in the apartments across the street. The staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful. Overall a great base for exploring Reykjavik!

In our room we have two shower heads. One didn’t work & the other one - the holder kept moving up & down. The pillows - I used three pillows under my head to get comfortable. They need replacing pillows are flat
