The hotel is very good, everything is very clean, and with a very good location, you can rest very well after your day's activities and the chaos of the city you arrive tired, so what you will need is a good bath and a good bed and this hotel has the conditions, I recommend it 100% its staff is friendly, Lalit one of the councilors or who is in charge of cleaning is very friendly and helps you in everything in his hands so that you feel comfortable with your room, the food is very good and of quality, it also has a unique restaurant and it is vegetarian, it is a small but cozy hotel.

This hotel is lovely and even though on main road it is quiet inside with a really good quality of rooms. Each room is air conditioned and has really good facilities. The team are brilliant helping with questions about where to go shopping negotiating Rikshaw prices. The food is hot and whilst you have to remember at breakfast food comes first and then your hot drink there is nothing to complain about and the prices are reasonable. A really lovely hotel to stay in.

Very comfy room and terrific location in Varanasi. Just close enough—5 minutes walk—to the ghats to be totally convenient, but just enough outside the main part of the old city to feel like a bit of a haven. Room in good shape, solid restaurant. Only complaint is that the staff is a bit too hover-y and solicitous in the restaurant, but that’s a small thing.

Close to ghats in a busy area. The bathroom had mold, but the shower and bed were OK. Not noisy. Got tired of eating at the buffet, although we liked the food for the most part and the service was good.

Staff lovely and very convenient to walking to The Ganges. Breakfast very limited…they ran out of coffee constantly, and when served it wasn’t good, and if busy cups and plates. Indian breakfast way better than European (sliced bread and packaged jam). Found a lot of noise in the corridor outside my room when I stayed- but that was fault of guests not hotel. Lovely to wake and watch monkeys playing on the buildings opposite. Would stay again…but not pay for breakfast…

A great hotel , european standard with an excellent service from all the staf ! From the front-desk , the restaurant , etc....a very kindky and professional atention ! Thanks a lot to every one who made my stay so fantastic. The hotel give a very good service with taxi ( they pick-up from the train station, then to Sarnath, etc.... with fantastic guy named Monu). The room is perfect, fantastic bed and acomodities . Strongly recomended in Varanasi.

Hotel Dolphin Grand in Varanasi is a fantastic value. Very conveniently located and comfortable hotel for the price. Sure, there might be nicer places in town and ones closer to the Ghats, but they cost a lot more and will be much noisier. Dolphin is close enough to walk to the Ganges, and located on a main street where it is easy to find a Tuk Tuk if you need a ride to the farther parts of town.
The room is comfortable enough for two people. The shower did get a little water on the floor, but not a big deal. The staff was very kind and helpful, especially Lakshmi at the front desk. Breakfast in the lobby was tasty.

this hotel must have been renovated not so long ago. it was out-of-india quality of cleanliness with one the friendliest and the most helpful staffs we’ve met during our trip in india. it was the first time in our trip that we enjoyed clean water shower that reverted our hair back to normal conditions after the shower. we had an amazing stay here.

L’hôtel est bien situé.
Pour seulement 136e pour 2 nuits en demi-pension ça vaut le coup.
La chambre était propre, avec tout le confort nécessaire.
Le petit-déjeuner était très bon et nous pouvions choisir ce que nous souhaitions à la carte.
Le soir c’était pareil, nous pouvions prendre ce que nous voulions pour dîner et le personnel du restaurant était très bien. C’est un restaurant uniquement végétarien mais franchement les saveurs changent et c’est bon.
Nous avions payés avant d’arriver pour éviter tout désagrément qu’on a pu lire dans certains commentaires.
Le manager a juste essayé, à notre arrivée, de nous dire que le petit-déjeuner n’était pas compris mais lorsque nous lui avons montrer notre voucher avec demi-pension il a dit ok et n’a pas insisté.

Enjoyed my stay at the Grand Dolphin. The service was warm and attentive, the hotel clean and the food quite good. As a foreign traveller, I found the area a little tricky to navigate but there were always rickshaws nearby to help me get around.
