Staff except one person is not good. Seems the staff is Not conversant in English. They take a customer request and evince surprise or lack of understanding. Speaking In vernacular helps. We tried morning breakfast , but the paranthas , kulchas, vada were in less quantity and cold. We ordered for paranthas and it was taking long and one had to follow up with waiters to get the paranthas on table.

Property is beautiful but they don’t turn on the a/c in corridors, bar, elevators are poorly ventilated. Blankets are feather light, a/c didn’t work in the room, no iron or ironing board, bathroom had no fan. Shower tile has rust along the edges. Lack of proper maintenance. Bar staff is efficient. Kitchen is slow and not consistent with menu items. They were also out of beer( 4 weeks later they were still out)

The hotel is a little tired with old electrical sockets that do not work properly (and that’s in the Suite!!). The staff need adequate training to be more efficient. They often appear unsure about what to do and faff around for very simples orders and requests.
