The food was amazing. The hotel located in a strategic location, unfortunately I was quite unsatisfied with the room itself. First, the tv hadn’t enough tv stations variation. Mostly, error. Also, when I rang the receptionist to ask whether they had water heater, I didn’t get a reply. Overall I would give 6/10. Hopefully there will be improvements. Thank you.

There are still many deficiencies, it's a bit clean, but when I asked for the room to be cleaned, the drinking water wasn't refilled, there were no extra tissues, no refilled hand soap, the sheets were washed but there were dirty stains. When I first entered the room, there wasn't a toothbrush, but there was a box of toothbrushes and toothpaste, there was only one sandal, there wasn't a plastic bag for dirty clothes. The laundry price is the most expensive

The bathroom "really smells," and many parts of the hotel are broken (need a complete overhaul and maintenance). The reception staff's friendliness is minimal (needs further training). Requests for an ashtray in the room went unanswered from check-in to check-out. Each request required two or three phone calls to the receptionist.

The request for late check out at Amaris Hotel Ambon was less responsive. Even though I had stayed for 3 days. Late check out at 1 pm was very difficult, finally had to extend another day. The one receptionist staff was very friendly, the lady was very quick to respond to the AC repair in the room even though we met her in the hallway while she was monitoring on the 5th floor and asked for help checking the AC in the room. When I wanted to check out, I met the lady. She was always smiling. Sorry, I forgot her name. For FO, it would be better to have more friendly staff like this, not those who are not friendly to guests.
