It's totally worth it. 500 thousand rupiah gets you a view this good. Check-in wasn't long, less than 5 minutes. The food was delicious. Parking is spacious. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, the shower was powerful, not too small, with both hot and cold water. You can even drink as much water as you like, there's a dispenser outside the room. All the staff are friendly, really great ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ride-hailing apps like Grab are also operational in the region, providing easy access to transportation for shorter distances.

The best time to visit Leksono is generally during the dry season, which runs from May to September. During these months, the weather is pleasant, with sunny days and cooler evenings, ideal for outdoor activities and exploring the highlands. The shoulder months of April and October can also be good, offering fewer crowds and potentially lower prices, though with a slightly higher chance of rain. Peak tourist seasons often coincide with Indonesian national holidays and the European summer holidays, so booking accommodation and tours in advance is recommended.

Before departing for Leksono, ensure you have a few essentials sorted. The local currency is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). While major credit cards are accepted in larger hotels and some restaurants, carrying cash is essential for markets, smaller eateries, and local transport. Purchasing a local SIM card upon arrival at the airport is recommended for easy data access. Essential apps to download include Google Maps for navigation, Google Translate for communication, and the Grab app for transportation.

Visa Information

For Philippine passport holders planning to visit Leksono, Indonesia, the visa requirements are generally straightforward. As of current regulations, Filipino citizens are typically granted visa-free entry into Indonesia for tourism purposes, allowing for stays of up to 30 days. This exemption simplifies travel planning significantly, as no prior visa application is required before departure. However, it is crucial to ensure your Philippine passport has at least six months of validity remaining from your intended date of entry into Indonesia.

When arriving in Indonesia, immigration officials may request proof of onward travel, such as a return or onward flight ticket, and sometimes evidence of sufficient funds to cover your stay. While visa-free entry is standard, policies can change, and it is always advisable for travellers to verify the latest visa regulations with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in the Philippines or the Directorate General of Immigration of Indonesia before booking flights. This proactive step ensures a smooth entry process into the country.

While visa-free entry is a significant convenience, travellers should always confirm the most up-to-date requirements directly with official Indonesian immigration channels before their trip. This includes checking any specific health declarations or entry protocols that may be in place. Confirming your entry status and requirements beforehand is a critical part of responsible travel planning, ensuring that your journey to Leksono is as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
