Cititel Hotel

Cititel Hotel Pekanbaru is a budget hotel which is located within walking distance to the business district of Pekan Baru city. Mall, market, and some local famous culinary outlets are available nearby as well. You may walk or take e-hailing service from the hotel to some destinations in the city. The hotel itself was simply yet modernly decorated. There were few choices of room types. Room size was not so big, just good for 2 persons occupancy. Bed was comfy enough. There was a TV set in the room but not a smart TV. There were some local and international channels. The air conditioning was cool enough. There was tea and coffee making facilities provided. No bottled mineral water was given but guests could refill their own water bottle at water dispenser which was located at each level's corridor. In-room WiFi speed was not bad. Room's cleanliness was good. They should increase the speed of housekeeping as we came back at 2 pm, but our room was not arranged yet. The bathroom was open shower concept with no partition separating the shower area. Hot and cold water shower was provided. Water pressure was okay. Soap and toothbrush were given. No hairdryer was provided. Size of the bathroom was quite comfortable. But, they should consider to provide enough hook for the clothes. Breakfast was provided for every in-house guests. Breakfast spread was simple: plain rice, fried noodle, two cooked dishes, plain toasted bread, porridge, cut fruit, mix local vegetable with peanut sauce, squash, hot tea and coffee. Breakfast was served in buffet style. The restaurant wad comfortable and clean. The hotel has meeting rooms as well. They provided banquet and event facilities. They had packages for events celebrated here. Open air parking space was available outside the hotel's complex. Hotel's crew friendliness and hospitality was just so so. If you are coming to Pekan Baru for a short business and vacation stay, Cititel can be considered.

The air conditioners have a problem. We call the technician and he said already repairing but still hot. Feels like sauna in the room. Please don't make the consumen dissapointed.

Nice hotel, not so far from masjid, easy to find great food from here, with reasonable price, minus we cannot request omelette at breakfast.

For only solved the problems, the foods not to bad.

There is lot of prostitute practice in this hotel, not recommended.
