I stayed at UBS Hostel Yogyakarta from 19–21 June 2026 and had a very pleasant experience. The hostel was clean, tidy, and well maintained. I stayed in a shared dormitory with 10 beds, and luckily I got a bottom bunk, which was very convenient as I didn't need to climb the ladder. The location is excellent and one of the best things about this hostel. Many of Yogyakarta's famous landmarks are within walking distance, and there are plenty of street food options nearby. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I enjoyed my stay. I will be staying here again next week and hope to get a bottom bunk once more. Highly recommended for budget travelers visiting Yogyakarta.

It was a great decision to stay here, as the atmosphere was truly serene. It's perfect for those seeking tranquility, as it's located off a main road, so it's quiet, yet still easily accessible. I was traveling solo and used a motorcycle taxi (ojek) to get around, and the fare was relatively affordable because it's relatively close to the tourist destinations I wanted to visit. There are plenty of food stalls around the guesthouse, making it easy to find dinner. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Thank you, Sonosewu Guesthouse.

Every time I go to Jogja, my first choice is always staying at Pules because it's conveniently located, not too far from Malioboro and the station, and even within walking distance. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and smell great, and there's a smoking area. If you want to eat, there's a cheap and cheerful Nasi Kucing stall right in front of the hotel, and it's also directly accessible by Trans Jogja. I've never been disappointed so far. 👏👏

Ma'am who is also friendly, the response is fast if we ask something, the water is fresh, clean, there are snacks, mineral water, and if we want to make tea or coffee we can make it ourselves in the kitchen, WiFi access is also fast. A 3 night vacation with siblings at affordable rates, in prime homestay, especially the mediocre budget. If you want to buy dinner in front of the alley there is a delicious tasting and very cheap, next to the alley there is also a sushi. If you want to have breakfast beside the alley a little to the east there is also a cheap breakfast.

My first experience at this hotel was truly memorable. First, perhaps the new building, followed by the friendly and helpful receptionist. The rooms were spacious and clean. It was a truly comfortable stay. It's conveniently located near the Yogyakarta Monument, making it a short walk to the monument, and souvenir shops are also nearby. This hotel is simply the best.

Very comfortable, safe, and makes you feel at home. Although 4 days and 3 nights is still not enough because access for vacation is very easy, very strategic. Wi-Fi is always strong signal. The whole family is satisfied. The room is spacious, 2 large beds are very comfortable for 4 people. Luckily, we didn't order breakfast at the same time, so we just ordered it from the hotel, which was easy and fast delivery. Overall, it was a great stay here. This is my first time staying at a guest house, and it’s super comfy. I really love the hospitality and the ambiance. Every spot feels like a grandma’s house—very warm and clean—with lots of gardens and plants around, which makes the place feel relaxing. They also have a café bar. The location is near the city center, making it easy to access everywhere.

The location is very strategic, just a short walk to tourist attractions. The room is very comfortable, the bathroom and room are clean, the hot water works, the AC is cold, and all the facilities are functioning. The swimming pool is clean. The staff is very friendly. In the evening, they serve fried noodles, coffee, snacks, etc. at affordable prices and the food is delicious. (My son even wants a house and a room like this inn.) This inn is highly recommended. We stayed here for 2 nights. If we go to Yogyakarta again, we will stay here. Thank you very much for the excellent service.
