Love the location of the hotel and how close it is to Ubud center. My son enjoys the walk around the hotel to feed the fish, visit the newborn sheep, and swim in the pool! We enjoy the free afternoon tea and the sweet goodies we got for supper. It’s the small gestures of the hotels’ service that made our stay a pleasant one.

Super recommended for healing, this hotel has very professional and great staff. Facilities are very great, my kid is so happy here and she asked me to stay there forever. The restaurant is good, has a very reasonable price, and tastes good.

Plataran adalah hotel legend dengan fasilitas dan hospitality yang sangat baik. Kami disambut ramah oleh staff, kami mendapatkan free massage hand & shoulder for free sambil menunggu proses check in, kami juga mendapatkan free afternoon tea dengan pilihan yang cukup beragam. Untuk breakfast, makanan juga bervariasi dan enak, kami juga mencoba dinner di sana, pemandangan romantis kami dapatkan di sini. Luas area sekitar 4,5 ha (saya mendapatkan penjelasan dari bapak yang mengantar dengan shuttle car, kami diajak keliling dengan dijelaskan begitu detail di mana mana saja kami dapat menikmati area hotel. Ada mini zoo, kalian dapat memberikan makanan kepada hewan yang ada di sana, ada juga kids Playground yang cukup lengkap. Kolam renang dengan suasana asri yang sangat menakjubkan, kalian dapat bersantai di sana pagi maupun sore hari. Saya mencoba Spa dengan nama Bali Nadi yang memanjakan diri saya selama 90 menit, pijatannya sangat enak, saya mendapatkan diskon 10% karena stay di sana. Saya tidak pernah mendapatkan perhatian yang begitu baik selama menginap di hotel mana pun seperti Plataran berikan, terutama ibu Helena yang sangat concern dan care terhadap anak kami sehingga kami mendapatkan kamar terbaik, Puji Tuhan, terima kasih ibu semoga sukses selalu. Resort, service and facilities are satisfying. In addition to the ready room early, we were upgraded to a suite type, our lucky day, the room was clean, beautiful and spacious with a private balcony and patio overlooking the pool. The therapeutic aroma that comes when entering the room gives a relaxed and calm feeling. Breakfast is okay and quite varied. All staff are very friendly and friendly especially with our children. In addition to greeting our children, the staff at the restaurant also occasionally played with them. There are two pools with different views (ricefield and jungle view), beautiful landscapes and manicured gardens. Nothing to complain about, thank you for the court of Ubud for a memorable stay for our family.

It is truly a very good hotel with 4.5 stars. But there’s still a bit more to do to become 5 stars. It is extremely charming with its own characters. But small details need to work on. Makeup mirror, need 2 room keys, electrical outlets, safety box, air con control, no alarm clock, disposable slippers. They all can be done a bit better

Pros- excellent location, friendly staff, good breakfast with vegetarian options( they made veg noodles for me separately), quiet and safe place in the city, display of Bali culture within the premises.
Totally enjoyed our stay
Cons- a bit outdated rooms, had a very noisy family in the adjacent villa which was a bit annoying.
The receptionist was telling me they had upgraded our room while we paid and booked for this. When pointed out, she apologised.

Lovely hotel! I had such a great stay at the start of my Bali trip that I stayed at Plataran again for a few days at the end of my trip. It feels like you’re in the countryside surrounded by gorgeous lush green rice fields and nature, with stunning views from the glorious pools, gym, restaurant and rooms, yet it’s walkable to shops and restaurants and right in Ubud city center. This is the perfect place for yoga lovers as it’s 4 min walk to The Yoga Barn! The staff were all super friendly, kind, attentive and helpful and went over and above to prepare healthy vegan and GF foods for me and make sure I had a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Could be amazing but just isn’t. Grounds are very pretty and staff are friendly, but it falls down from there. Stained bedding, bathroom sink leaking all over the floor on check in (which clearly is a regular issue given the water damage to the pipe cover), no apology for this until breakfast the morning I left with an offer to extend my stay, bathroom definitely needing a refurb, previous guests e cig cartridges left on the bedside table, gym equipment in a pretty poor state with the bench very unstable so not safe. Tried to use the complementary spa voucher but failed - despite being told I could use it for a facial, on arrival at the spa I was told I couldn’t and it would be chargeable. Laundry service supposed to be back by 7pm but arrived the next morning at 9am.
One of the biggest issues is that the hotel just doesn’t feel like it has a central area to sit, have a drink or just be around other guests. Attempted to get a drink at one of the bars in the grounds and nobody turned up to serve me. The only exception is the Enclave bar which is open to the public by the main road - staff here are great and the environment is really nice.
Too many failures for the price. I would avoid unless it’s below £100 per night.

The hotel is a bit dated - condition of rooms etc is more like a 4 star.
But service is great, pools are nice, overall nice little haven if you want to be in the centre of Ubud. Private path to yoga barn is a huge pro if you’re frequenting the studio.
Overall would stay again.

The location is quite close to the center of Ubud. We enjoyed walking to all shops and restaurants after visiting the Monkey Sanctuary which was less than 10 minutes away by foot. You get the Bali city vibe throughout Ubud, but as soon as I walk into Plataran grounds, I'm surrounded by rice fields and high greens. It felt like a sanctuary of its own. Every single staff was friendly and trying to help before I even realized I needed help. It made our Ubud stay a very pleasant one.

I loved everything about Bali and this property. There are fountains and beautiful trees, flowers and views at every corner. The people are so friendly and the rooms are clean with outstanding views. The spa here is so good that I went almost every day while here. I highly recommend!

We loved everything about Plataran Ubud. We were grateful for the upgrade to the Suite. The room was huge, with a dining room, living room with a TV, and bedroom with another TV. There were 2 bathrooms, one was smaller (with shower room) in the dining room, and one big one in the bedroom. We didn't expect the serenity of the hotel. It was night and day difference from the hussle and bustle of Ubud, right outside of the hotel compound. The buildings were surrounded by paddy fields, tall trees, and streams. We enjoyed its proximity to restaurants, cafes, convenient stores, a supermarket, and a pharmacy.
The staff was awesome and super friendly. The most important thing for us was that our little enjoyed her time at the kids club. We dropped her off every morning and let her play until lunchtime. Their staff at the kids club was friendly and attentive to her.

There were 2 bathrooms, one was smaller (with shower room) in the dining room, and one big one in the bedroom. We didn't expect the serenity of the hotel. It was night and day difference from the hussle and bustle of Ubud, right outside of the hotel compound. The buildings were surrounded by paddy fields, tall trees, and streams. We enjoyed its proximity to restaurants, cafes, convenient stores, a supermarket, and a pharmacy.
The staff was awesome and super friendly. The most important thing for us was that our little enjoyed her time at the kids club. We dropped her off every morning and let her play until lunchtime. Their staff at the kids club was friendly and attentive to her.
