Lovely spacious room, good bar and restaurant and fitness center

My first stay in this hotel and my experience was superb. Warm, welcoming staff; spacious, very comfortable and clean bedroom with everything I needed. Cleaned thoroughly each day with real attention to detail. I didn't have breakfast but lunch in onsite restaurant was delicious. Warmly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay. Rooms were nice and comfortable. We will be back.

Warm welcome, good sized ‘standard’ room and a great breakfast buffet

I have never until now stayed in a room that had a 1.5 inch gap under the hotel room door. I felt incredibly unsafe that anyone could push something under the door such as a camera. On top of this the noise was horrendous. I heard everything from other guests moving through the corridor throughout the night. My room window was right about some of the mechanical systems and the noise coming through the closed window was like a constant drone. On top of that, the room or corridor above my room carried all their noise down to my room. The thumping of footfall, people shouting and drunk in the early hours and heavy footfall all early morning. I’ve never left a bad review for anywhere before, but this was appalling. I barely slept and felt like I was in some low rent hostel as opposed to a supposed 4 star hotel. I left first thing to get away from the place.

Although the Hotel is located 30 minutes taxi ride from Dublin City Center it compensates its distance by offering not only excellent facilities but superb customer service all the way. We felt truly welcomed here. Professional and friendly service. the brasserie has a good choice of food and drinks and offers a professional and friendly service. My room was spacious, clean with comfortable bed and pillow.Highly recommended.

I don’t think I’ve ever really given a poor review, but I’m a bit cheesed off after staying at this hotel. I did raise all issues upon check out, but was met with a bit of a ‘oh well’, which has led me here. 2 night business trip stay. - mattresses are literally the most basic there is. Super uncomfortable. - pillows are very basic 1” thick and well used. - I had no hot water for 1 evening/1 morning (50% of stay). Turns out no one did, but no communication so stood there trying to run a shower for ages hoping it would get hot. It didn’t. Just slide a bit of paper under the door to let me know like any other hotel. - breakfast is the cheapest, most basic quality food. It’s a buffet but served to you by a guy who literally threw it all on the plate in a big pile, massive inconvenience for him. - raised issues on check out, especially about the water, and wasn’t even told it was a problem. I only knew from speaking to other guests at breakfast. Was met with a bit of a ‘oh well’. The only good thing is the on site restaurant- really decent food! Must be independent from the breakfast. Food was great, good service and choice of beers.

Usually like this hotel, but it's looking a little tired. Elevator to our floor was out of order for a few days without any indication of how long it would be unavailable. Restaurant always pretty good.
