LThe location is great, close to all the tourist attractions. Danielle is very nice and they even gave us a bottle of prosecco for free, which was really nice. The hotel is also nice and clean. I highly recommend it.

The location was great, right in the middle of the cities. We walked every where and did not need of ride the metro or buses. The view of our room was the opera house, great view. The staff were very proactive and help us self checked in

The place is in a very safe area. Few minutes walk to Roma Termini station. Walking distance to Colleseum. The hotel is clean. Our room is above the restaurant..it was still quite. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Great location , close to the train terminal. The hotel is situated opposite the Opera House and has a good selection of bars and restaurants close by. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable bed. We loved the old fashioned lift, reminiscent of many old movies. The hosts were very helpful and always attentive. We were able to walk to the Colleseum about 15 mins. Good value for money.

Good for a few day stay in Rome. Close to major Bus and Metro stops. Check in was good as we came in after front desk hours the guys sent a WhatsApp message with a video of how to get in which was pretty straightforward.

Hotel was ideal for a 3 night stay. Basic amenities and comfy beds. Tea and coffee in a kitchenette outside room. Lovely bathroom with 2 sinks was handy 3 single beds

All type of restaurants very convinient, within walkable distance for all good attractions.
Souvenir stores and mini markets just outside.
Shame I did not get my bottle of wine as a "VIP" property, they were supposed to be.

Good communication from the property in advance, a very warm welcome from reception and a great location for exploring Rome. The rooms were a fair size and very clean. There was some noise from bars below but when in a City it’s to be expected and it wasn’t an issue for us (more of a benefit as it meant we could eat and drink very local to the hotel) There was a small communal area where we could make team and coffee which was nice. The only thing that would have made our stay more enjoyable would have been a small communal seating area (we’d booked 2 rooms and seating in bedrooms not really adequate) However, we’d definitely recommend this hotel and we hope to return in the future.

Al Viminale Hill Inn & Hotel is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Roma Termini. It's fairly easy to find, and Francesco contacted me a couple of days before our arrival. After confirming we would be arriving after hours, he contacted me directly on WhatsApp with clear instructions on how to do self-check in for after-hours and then to check-in the next day during normal hours. He was also very helpful with giving us a local area map and answering any questions about directions and such.
The double room itself is a bit small. We had two large suitcases, so those eat up most of the side space in the room. The shower was our only issue, water pressure is a bit small and takes a while to warm up the water...They only had "fan" or "heat" options for winter months, so it did get quite warm in the room, and the a/c system won't work if the window is open.
Overall, I would recommend Al Viminale Hill Inn for anyone looking for a pretty centrally located hotel in Rome. Only about a 15-30 minute walk to most sites, and easy to get to the train station, metro and buses which is a plus if you have luggage to haul. Easy to call taxis in the area about 1-2 blocks up to the bigger streets.

The Hotel was very well located, close to the Train station and has a lot of dining options around. Room and bathroom were more in the small side but comfortable enough if you are just going there to rest and sleep. Staff was nice. Wifi worked ok. Overall was good.

Room was clean but small for 3 people. Third bed was just a chez lounge and not a sofa bed. Limited storage. No milk for tea and coffee. Nowhere to eat in hotel and you have to out in the street and try and find somewhere for breakfast. Misleading photographs on Expedia site.

Great place. Only downside was that I had booked 4 rooms for 7 people. When we got there as the single person I was led to the ‘single room’, which was a double bed, but was actually a pull out sofa bed. The shower head was also not operating. To the credit of the hotel after the first night when I brought this up the immediately moved me to another room with a real bed and working shower.
