Caesar Augustus, Relais & Chateaux Hotel

How wonderful it was to open the curtains in the morning and look out and see the sea panorama of Ischia Naples, Mount Vesuvius, Sorrento all in one sweep. That alone was worth staying here, but in addition, the room was comfortable. The facility was clean and charming. Only mention is our room had a tub set up only and was a little slippery tricky to get in and out for a shower. The staff were superb and helpful at every turn. The location is ideal easy to walk to charming ann Capri and the shuttle service and local transport helps with other places. We utilized the convenient the pick up and drop off shuttle service. Eat breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at the restaurant too. The little cave like steam room was so cute. The hotel is well managed, and we hope to return someday.

Our stay was absolutely unforgettable. The views and world-class service were everything you’d expect from a five-star hotel, but it was the warmth and kindness of the staff that truly made the experience so special. Every detail was handled with care, making our time there both relaxing and memorable.The sunsets over the infinity pool were spectacular. Great location to go for a short walk to Anacapri and villa Michelle.

Excellent hotel, good service in one of the best part of capri

You are greeted at the door at reception and shown around the property and they strive to please you. Rooms and amenities are luxury quality. Breakfast buffet is great with proper settings and indoors, which is great because you can eat without bees attaching you. Nice robes, slippers, towels and amenities. They do a turn down service with fresh towels. The best asset to this hotel is the amazing view, you are at the top of a huge cliff in Anacapri facing the ocean, Napoli and Sorrento. The only con is the hotel is on a busy street neighboring a children sports camp and can be noisy all day. It’s about 10-15 minute walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

Without a doubt one of the best hotels I've had the pleasure to stay in. The property is a beautiful 19th century private summer palace converted into a beautiful hotel. The interiors are stylishly decorated and furnished. The rooms are spacious with incredible views. The service was impeccable, from the moment we arrived at the port there was a porter waiting to greet us and handle the transfer of our luggage to the hotel. The transfer from the port was in a BMW driven by Allesandro. We were greeted at the property by Angelo who was welcoming and ensured a smooth cheque in process. We spent an afternoon at the pool which has terrific views of the bay of Naples and some time trying out their cozy outdoor gym which is surrounded by plenty of trees and the hotel's garden where they grow fruit and vegetables. The breakfast was outstanding with plenty of fresh fruit, delicious tomatoes grown on the property and a wide selection of delicious pastries and desserts. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Incredible, amazing, stunning!!!!!

I had very high expectations for this property before we arrived, and they’ve exceeded even those lofty expectations by a wide margin. What an amazing property, run by amazing people. The views from this hotel simply can not be beat. The food was exquisite. The grounds immaculate and the service was second-to-none. We were met at the ferry docks by a hotel representative who took our luggage and arranged our transfer to the hotel via private coach (NOTE - if you are afraid of heights, close your eyes for the ride to the hotel!). After check in, luggage appeared in our room. A special shout-out to Marco. We met Marco just after check in, having lunch in the restaurant. We saw Marco every day, several times each day, during our stay, and he had a friendly and helpful greeting each time. If they’re offering it, remember to try the Ravioli Caprese dish. It was outstanding (and the Bufala Caprese). The views from this property are simply amazing, with sheer cliffs running 900’ straight down. The pool area was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The room service staff (housekeeping) serviced the room twice a day, making it so that when we returned from our excursions of Capri and Anacapri, or returning from dinner, the room was fresh and clean. Don’t forget to watch the sunset from the lounge. You won’t regret it. We are completing our three-week tour of southern Italy and Greece, and can easily say that our stay at the Caesar Augustus was THE most memorable stay, bar none.
