The hotel was lovely, very welcoming with friendly staff. The breakfast included was a bonus as was the swimming pool! The room was spacious and clean, and plenty big enough for 4 of us.

We had a fantastic stay here. We were allocated room 509 which was just right for us and a large balcony area. Breakfast was delicious. I am coeliac and there was plenty to choose from. Hot food plus yoghurt and fruit . Lovely juice and coffee. The hotel itself is a couple of bus rides or a train from appiano station which is just round the corner and then a bus into Central Rome. We have a had a fantastic time and we are sad to be leaving. The staff were lovely, chatty and helpful.

Fabulous find. A bit of a walk or a quick can to central areas but excellent hotel with really helpful reception guide who helped us make the most of our short stay in Rome with excellent trip suggestions. Good breakfast and nice pool for a dip on a hot day.

Stayed here for 3 nights as family of four. We used it as a base as we spent most of our time exploring Rome. If you want to be in the Centre of Rome, this is not for you. If you like being away from the chaos then it definitely should be considered. Approx 15-20 min walk from Cipro, Line A Metro station. Very convenient for all major sights in the City. There is a closer Bus Stop (Medaglie D'Oro) which will take you straight to town also. A main line train station is closest of all BUT the 24/48/72 hrs travel tickets don't include this train line and require a separate ticket. Room size (Good) and amenities in the room generally good however one of the single beds was broken and repaired poorly, also the bathroom could do with a bit of TLC. Pool (v.small) and gym available but we didn't use them Breakfast was in the main good, enough choice but some different/better options would have been nice. We did not encounter any issues with staff and all we interacted with were polite.

The rooms were small. It was difficult to move around from one side of the bed as there was only a foot’s clearance of the metal hanging rail. I walked straight into it at night which was painful. The aircon seemed to turn itself down at night making the room really warm and uncomfortable during sleep but really cold during the day. Well equipped gym with lights on 5-minute timer. Lights often went off when on the some of the equipment and you could only reactivate through motion by getting off the equipment. The gym was pitch black as no windows and nearly tripped getting off the cross trainer every five minutes. Better option was to continue the workout in pitch darkness. Free parking for the location is amazing. The hotel is outside all ztl zones, which makes it a great option for cruisers driving from the airport and to the cruise port. Breakfast was good. Restaurant staff were really helpful.

Big, clean room. Helpful staff. Dirty small pool. Walking distance from Vatican. Near good supermarket Deco and good restaurant Balduino. 15m walk from subway Cipro that brings you to the city in 7m. Good breakfast with outside area... but no fresh orange juice. Not always towels for pool available. Overall good price quality... We paid 130 a night without balcony. Perfect for a quick jump in the pool in the end of the day. If the pool is important for you skip this hotel.

This hotel exceeded my expectations completely!!! Each of the staff members made the lead up to my 40th birthday one to remember! To my surprise, the food at the hotel was phenomenal. My only complaint was the air in the hotel not fully functioning. Otherwise, they'd have 5 stars across the board. Dominic and Guillermo at the hotel restaurant are extraordinary!!!!! Oh and the proximity to the Vatican surprised me.

This was my first time going to Rome and I was happy with the hotel. It is quite a far distance from central Rome however so do keep that in mind we took a taxi everytime that cost €25 but should have booked a hotel closer. It has a small pool (mind you it’s small but nice to refresh after a long day and if not busy, they have a policy that you need to return the towels 7pm same day which was quite annoying at times- I do think the bathrooms in the rooms can do with a bit of a better clean as the tiles are dirty. One day was a bit weird we had someone come in to our room while we were out and we were not given any notice I didn’t like that at all as we would have locked up valuables. Happy with hotel in general tho as no other major complaints and had a nice grocery shop nearby.

Excellent place to stay, on most days a reasonable taxi fare to Central Rome, train station located right around the corner which connects to Metro Line A in one stop- Very convenient and cost savings. Internet was unreliable, had to use own in most instances. Pool was a delight, but would have loved the bar open later for simple drinks and a also place for basic sundries. Definitely recommend.

The hotel was a little out of the way, about 1k from the nearest subway stop, but we booked it because it came with 3 twin beds. Everything about our stay was perfect except that the beds were on the very hard side. This is the only reason I didn't give an all around excellent score. The staff was great once they got to know us and they were willing to go above and beyond in a couple of areas, especially Dominico who seemed to be there all day every day. They always handled our requests for taxis and such with professionalism. I also loved the quietness of the neighborhood. We felt that the inconvenience of the location was outweighed by the local experience we had. If this is your first time booking this hotel I would suggest using a cab to get there from the airport and back. If you have 3 people like we did it was a bargain , about 70EU, and time saver. Also remember that Rome is a city of hills and dragging your luggage and trying to navigate for the first can be daunting. We loved our experience taking the trains but we were glad to take the cab back to the airport in under 45 minutes instead of allowing about 2 hours by train.

Overall was good. Location was okay. Breakfast wasn't bad. Most of the staff was friendly. However, had a not so great dinner experience with one of the waiters, so that wasn't very nice. Service could be improved there. Also, the weather was very hot and sunny but unfortunately the pool was closed for the duration of my trip which was a huge bummer. Clearer notice of exact periods pool would be closed should be given.
