Hotel Duca d'Alba

Great staff! Excellent location! Love it !

We were there during a heatwave and the AC could not keep up for 2 of the days. We asked staff to assess/ fix... they tried but it wasn't great. Despite that- would stay there again- location is excellent, close to everything including the Cavour Metro stop, Colloseum and numerous eateries.

Really good stuff and super comfortable

Location was good. You have climb 18 steps to get elevator. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very basic.

I will stay again !

In the heart of Monti, near the Cavour Metro stop, a busy little street but our room was very quiet. The rooms are small, but fine fresh sheets every day on the comfortable bed. Not a luxury hotel, but a decent value for Rome.

Location, location, location!

AC and clean quiet room in the heart of Monti district. Really good location.

Staff were very kind, brought our bags to our room and when we were leaving came and retrieved them. Inquired about certain things in the area and how long it’d get to other places and staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great location near bars and restaurants. Quiet and spacious and nice bathroom.

Great place to stay close to all

Hotel was OK, location was great though. Everything felt dated and a little musty. We were located in a secondary building and the elevator did not work and the lobby area smelled strongly of mold. I also needed to iron clothes during our stay and was directed to a basement area to use a communal iron that was filled with mold and I felt like I was in a dungeon. Staff was very kind and attentive though and overall our stay was ‘fine’. During our time in Europe we stayed at three other 4-star hotels and this one felt significantly inferior at that rating.

Great location, comfortable hotel.

We didn't like the fact that we were given a small, obstructed view room in the annex when we clearly reserved a room in the main hotel building. We will return in 2028, this hotel will get a one year rest as we are in Rome annually and will try another hotel in Monti in 2027. I must get what I paid for, everytime.

Great great location. Walkable to the metro at the end of the street, and puts you in the heart of Rome. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Expect a small room size like elsewhere in Europe. Great spots for pizza or gelato all within a 1-2 min walk. Would definitely recommend.

Monti was exactly what we were looking for and Duca D’Alba was in the heart of it all. We will definitely be back!

It was a great hotel located in an amazing part of the city! We loved exploring all the cobblestone streets located around the hotel. Lots of cafes, and restaurants within walking distance. The staff were great…definitely staying there again if I’m fortunate enough to visit Rome in the future.
