Hot water In bathroom is not hot enough

Hotel was OK, location was great though. Everything felt dated and a little musty. We were located in a secondary building and the elevator did not work and the lobby area smelled strongly of mold. I also needed to iron clothes during our stay and was directed to a basement area to use a communal iron that was filled with mold and I felt like I was in a dungeon. Staff was very kind and attentive though and overall our stay was ‘fine’. During our time in Europe we stayed at three other 4-star hotels and this one felt significantly inferior at that rating.

Great location, comfortable hotel.

We didn't like the fact that we were given a small, obstructed view room in the annex when we clearly reserved a room in the main hotel building. We will return in 2028, this hotel will get a one year rest as we are in Rome annually and will try another hotel in Monti in 2027. I must get what I paid for, everytime.

Great great location. Walkable to the metro at the end of the street, and puts you in the heart of Rome. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Expect a small room size like elsewhere in Europe. Great spots for pizza or gelato all within a 1-2 min walk. Would definitely recommend.

Monti was exactly what we were looking for and Duca D’Alba was in the heart of it all. We will definitely be back!

It was a great hotel located in an amazing part of the city! We loved exploring all the cobblestone streets located around the hotel. Lots of cafes, and restaurants within walking distance. The staff were great…definitely staying there again if I’m fortunate enough to visit Rome in the future.

Great staff and wonderful location.

Lovely clean room with daily housekeeping. Air con worked well and the shower was hot and powerful. There was a window, no view but this wasnt a problem as I wasnt in the room during the day. The 24 hour reception staff were always friendly and helpful. The cavour metro was 1 minute walk away. Perfect location for colosseum - 5 -10 minute walk. Would stay here again.

The property was not in a good shape. Staff was very accommodated. Hotel location was great.

I booked an economy room. Room 303. I was shown to a tiny room, with nowhere to sit, nowhere to put my suitcase, With the single bed in the centre and a closet between my head and the edge of the room, I needed to walk sideways around it. There was nowhere to sit. I went down to the front desk and asked - a manager oukled out my reservation and pointed at the word “economy”. That room is an insult to anyone over the age of 30 - I’m 77. It made my four days in Rome completely awful. The hotel has 4 stars. Not in Room 303! A disgrace. I would suggest to Expedia, NOT to allow that room to be used. Rome is one of my favorite and most oft-visited cities. The Hotel Duca d’Alba ruined it for me. An apology would be nice.

Tiny showers. No face cloth. Cord for kettle was too small.

I stayed in the Economy Single Room. It is on the 1st floor, but feels more like in a dungeon. The door/window opens to a court yard, at the bottom of a well. The outside air smells like urine. Fortunately the inside of the room is clean and the AC works fine.

Staff helpful , we had a suite in the side building which had a fair few stairs to climb then a lift up to 2nd floor, the room was a good size , modern and clean, comfortable bed, air conditioning kept it cool, excellent bathroom and shower highly rated, fridge and safe in room , no coffee machine though, great location for central train station literally 1 min walk to tube and then 2 min ride to train station , 10 mins walk from colosseum , Rome is quite wide spread so ideal being near tube, highly recommend

Ilmastointi tehokas ja hyvä, huoneessa riittävät asiat yhdelle. Suihkusta iso miinus, ekana iltana vain kylmää vettä ja muutenkin huonolla paineella. Kesti kauan saada vesi sopivaksi ja myöskin suihku ahdas. Muuten kaikki pelas ja toimi. Sijainti hyvällä paikalla ja rauhallinen huone.
