A family-friendly place to stay: The "double quadruple" room had 4 twin beds, two of which were licated in a kind of loft; the room was supplied with kids' games and toys. Fabulous breakfast. The receptionist was extremely helpful in finding information and making recommendations for us during a train strike that (pardon the pun) derailed our plans. The location, between the old city walls and the train station, was convenient and surprisingly quiet. Things were pretty basic in the room. Decor was haphazard and the closet space pretty tight. No iron or ironing board. Teeny shower. But we were not there for the amenities, and the staff was terrific.

Location - excellent for public transport. We used bus and train to reach the hotel and both stopped at the Stazione which is a 3 minutes walk to the hotel. The hotel is good and affordable. Staff was very helpful storing the luggage, giving information and even a plug because ours did not work.

It was like stepping back in time very old hotel with decor from 1960 ish . The bed was very hard the Airconditioning didn’t work properly. The cleaning staff and lady in breakfast room were lovely along with the receptionist. The gentleman that did the night shift was very cranky. The shower was only a very low low to no pressure. The hair dryer was from the 60s could dry hair . It’s very convenient to rail way station.

This hotel was very accessible from the train station and very accessible to the walled city, the room was spacious and clean. We were surprised that the air-conditioning was not available until May 1 which was after our stay overall would recommend it to anyone for a 2 to 3 day stay

Best equipped 3 star hotel on our 14 day Italy trip. Kettle and tea in the room, biscuits available. Very good breakfast choice and 2 minute walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the amazing city walks. The evening duty person recommended a very local trattoria which was busy with locals and had great food
