駅を出てすぐ見つかるので、重い荷物を持ちながら、私はなんて素晴らしいホテルを予約したんだと、自分に感謝した。 部屋はとても狭くて、そこが逆に可愛らしくて好きでした。赤毛のアンの小部屋にでもいるようなムードがあり、棚やバスルームと部屋のバランスもちょうどよく、使いやすかった。スーツケースを広げるのは、余裕がないのでデスクの下に広げた。バスルームも使うのには十分な位の広さで満足。 スタッフの女性は皆、可愛らしく優しい。 朝ご飯は、パン、ハム、チーズ以外は、甘い菓子が多くて辛かった。しかし、LUCCAという街も、このホテルもよいところです。

A perfect place to check out Lucca! Staff was very helpful and it was easy access to train station and walking around.

Great location and friendly service

A family-friendly place to stay: The "double quadruple" room had 4 twin beds, two of which were licated in a kind of loft; the room was supplied with kids' games and toys. Fabulous breakfast. The receptionist was extremely helpful in finding information and making recommendations for us during a train strike that (pardon the pun) derailed our plans. The location, between the old city walls and the train station, was convenient and surprisingly quiet. Things were pretty basic in the room. Decor was haphazard and the closet space pretty tight. No iron or ironing board. Teeny shower. But we were not there for the amenities, and the staff was terrific.

Location - excellent for public transport. We used bus and train to reach the hotel and both stopped at the Stazione which is a 3 minutes walk to the hotel. The hotel is good and affordable. Staff was very helpful storing the luggage, giving information and even a plug because ours did not work.

Very kind staff. Very well located. The hotel itself is kind of old but there’s a charm to it and you can feel the staff is doing their best.

It was good. I was out until 11:30pm. I was surprised that they locked the door, but someone came right away when I rang the buzzer, so no issue.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome—warm, attentive, and always ready to help with local tips or extra towels. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city’s cobbled streets and historic sites. Mornings were a treat thanks to the generous breakfast spread: fresh pastries, fruit, eggs, and delicious Italian coffee that kept us going all day. The location was ideal—quiet yet close to everything, including the city walls and lovely piazzas. It’s rare to find a place that balances comfort, hospitality, and value so well. Whether you’re travelling with kids or just looking for a peaceful getaway, this hotel hits all the right notes. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Lucca!

Old hotel . Good location. Noisy

The hotel has great potential and is located not too far from the main attractions, but it needs several improvements. The bathroom, in particular, could use some renovation. An average stay overall.

Friendly staff

Hotel semplice, d'epoca, ma globalmente confortevole e molto pulito; la nostra camera, anche se un po' buia e senza vista, era ampia ed arredata in modo classico; il bagno è abbastanza grande e ben fornito. Il personale ci è sembrato disponibile e cordiale; la colazione accettabile, il buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, la posizione comodissima per la stazione e non lontana dal centro, lo rendono nel complesso un hotel da consigliare se non si hanno troppe pretese.

Loved the quirky nature of the property, old fashioned but clean and welcoming a spit away from tge main station and easy walk into tge old town definitely stay again
