Love this property and its staff. Everyone from the booking agent to the receptionist to the dining room staff to the pool staff were all so pleasant and helpful. And the pool on the roof overlooking the city and the Colosseum is amazing and stunning! Will for sure return.

We were allocated a room on arrival and on entering the room we were very disappointed. It was small, dark and the shower was on the opposite side of the room to the other bathroom facilities. There was a door out on to the fire escape and the view was over the delivery and bins area. It was horrible, a real last minute, put a room in that gap sort of thing. Sadly I can't remember the room number. I went back to reception and politely told them that it was not a £350 per night room and asked for a change. They said they were fully occupied but managed to find another room (111), which I must say was very nice,much bigger and more suitable for our needs with a better view. I must say though thst it was still a dark room with not an abundance of lighting in it. The location is wonderful being a few hundred metres from the Colisseum with lots of bars and restaurants close by. The rooftop pool was great and much appreciated after walking around in 38' and the rooftop bar was very nice in the evening looking out over the illuminated Colisseum. Breakfast was okay with food to satisfy all needs and the staff throughout the hotel were very pleasant and helpful. We had a good three nights here but would have been thoroughly disappointed had we not been able to change from the initial room allocated.

The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. But, there were many things that could be improved. The pool was very small, the bathroom door cranked open and closed with sound of a spooky crypt movie, there was no good place to hang wet things, the mattress was way too hard, but improved with help from the staff who put another duvet over the mattress. The lobby was extremely uncomfortable, the main couch was way too deep and needed thick pillows to make a reasonable seating. we loved the rooftop cafe—the food and service was lovely. It was a good neighborhood to be in, near the coliseum, but also near many good reasonable restaurants. We didn’t opt for their breakfast and used the room refrigerator for some foods. The room did not have adequate drawers or shelves for our clothing.

This hotel has a great location, just minutes from the Colosseum. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby with great public transport links. The room was very clean and well maintained, although the bathroom could do with a refurbishment. 😕 Staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool and bar are an added bonus, with spectacular views. Highly recommended if you are looking for a central location in Rome.
