Very clean room, location close to everything specially the Termini train station, restaurants and most of all they have a great staffs, who are friendly and accomodating to our needs. Definitely will stay at the Independent Hotel.

This hotel is ideally located near many major attractions. Has elevator unlike many Rome hotels. Rooms are smaller than we are accustomed to in US but very nicely set up. Our room was spotless during our stay. Big fluffy towels - NO WASHCLOTHS - in bath. Bring your own. Sink actually had countertop; unusual in Italian hotels in our experience. Nice shower with lots of water pressure. Roof top bar & cafe, full breakfast & a few offers for dinner. Bar had limited selection but good one. We had room facing south & the air conditioner was more than adequate to keep room cool. Cold at night. Staff mixed; most spoke good English but not all. They do not change money, but there is ATM less than a block away at bank across major street (go left out of door). Bellman very helpful. Knowledgeable & knows area. Desk clerk not so much. No laundry service, but there is a laundry three blocks left out of door just off Volturno. I plan on staying there next visit. But will make reservation directly; hotel.com made two reservations & could not straighten it out or reduce stay by a day. Great place!

Clean quiet accomodation for the elevated price. No issues. Quiet! Close to train station and "tour bus loop" Nice comfotable bed, very nice clean shower and big soft owels... so nice after flight from Chicago. 2pm check-in no exceptions sadly. Stay here very good. Included breakfast which had varety and very good. Pastry shop up the block very good.
