Nishitetsu Resort Inn Beppu
Nice hotel, good location but air con didn't cold. I asked staff about that and they brought us a fan which can just a little help.

Kamenoi Hotel Beppu
This hotel was awesome. it was strategically located near city center and station Beppu. the room was large enough for 4 adults. the staffs were friendly and helpful. there was a public onsen within the hotel and a coin laundry was really useful

Onsen Yado Hamayu Nagi - Hostel
Unpleasant smells of the carpet in front of the entrance. The customer is required to lay the futon and fold the futon (including covering and uncovering the white sheets on the futons and blankets).

Beppu Hostel U&T
Extremely large room with separate WC and shower. 4 twin beds provided in the room (though bedding provided is based on occupancy) so ample space for the family. Even has a dining table and kitchenette.
Kids were entertained in the common area with Nintendo consoles and free-flow beverages.
Free parking provided in the compound.
Location is convenient - a few hundred meters to a Don Quijote (for late night shopping) and a short 15 min drive to the Hells of Beppu.
Overall very good value and highly recommended for families with young children.

Hotel New Tsuruta
Thoroughly enjoyed my one night stay at the hotel which comes with breakfast. Room was clean and tidy, onsen was also well maintained. Breakfast selection was wide and tasted great! Highly recommended to stay!
