Staying at the Holiday Inn is a great choice, close to halal food. It's connected to a shopping center and directly connected to the Dotonbori area, just a 3-minute walk away. We stayed as a family, and the room for three people was still worth it—comfortable and clean. Overall, it's recommended. Dotonbori is just a 10-minute walk away.

Unforgettable stay we had at Centara Grand Hotel Osaka! The location is just next to Namba Parks Mall, you can even easily go to the Mall from the 2nd floor. The hotel also offers TukTuk ride to Namba station, my son LOVES it, especially having Andy (the super kind and friendly concierge guy of the Hotel) to ride him there! The room is very clean, and as we chose the corner premium room, we got fabulous view to the parks! For sure we will definitely go back and stay at Centara Grand Hotel Osaka next time we go to Osaka!

Osaka: A Culinary Capital and Cultural Crossroads for the Global Traveller

Osaka stands as a vibrant testament to Japan's dynamic spirit, offering a distinct flavour that sets it apart from the more serene or historically focused cities. For international travellers, it presents an exhilarating blend of cutting-edge modernity and deeply ingrained traditions, all seasoned with a famously friendly and down-to-earth local attitude. Unlike the hushed reverence often found in Kyoto or the hyper-modernity of Tokyo, Osaka pulses with an infectious energy, driven by its reputation as Japan's kitchen and a hub for innovation. This is a city where culinary exploration is not just a pastime but a way of life, and where the warmth of its people makes every visitor feel instantly welcome.

The sheer diversity within Osaka's urban sprawl ensures that no two experiences are quite alike.
