A fantastic selection of food and drink at breakfast and lunch. Scenery is breath taking and worth the hour bus ride. As we booked last minute free shuttle bus was unavailable. 2mins walk to cable car and pirate ship. Trail walk around the lake. Our one night stay was not long enough. Bedrooms not huge but liked the proper shower

This hotel was amazing. 5 out of 5 stars, only a 2 minute convenient walk from the bus station, and the amenities were incredible. We stayed in a room that had a private onsen, which was very romantic for my husband and I’s stay. Along with the open air hot springs, the amenities here were amazing. The hotel included complimentary breakfast and dinner buffets which were delicious! Will definitely be back when in Japan again!

Very clean hotel in an excellent location, beautiful views of the lake and delicious food. For any European travellers just remember that Japanese hotel rooms are small by comparison so you'll have most of your clothes in your case, however the norm is to wear the clothes provided by the hotel when on property which are very comfortable. During our stay the sulfur smell from nearby was quite noticeable at times and does come and go, though the equipment on the room eliminates this, just one to consider when outside

This establishment was an awesome choice for our Hakone visit, a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The was great reception and attentiveness of the staff, to unlimited amenities, and spacious room with a private open air bath, all exceeding our expectations. The public bath area was very nice and well worth time spent to include saunas. Additionally, included was an extensive spread for breakfast and dinner - you are sure to walk away satisfied. The food was so fresh and flavorful, I wanted to ask for recipes. The staff was helpful, friendly offering 1st class service. The hotel is minutes away from public transport which help us easily move from one place to another. I have already recommended this hotel to others and I’d surely book again.

From the amenities, views, service, and overall facilities, this property is truly exceptional. The food stands out for both its quality and variety, and the spacious hot tub is a highlight. The only minor drawback is that the room feels a bit tight for four people, as it’s originally designed for two—adding two futons required removing the coffee table to create space. That said, everything else the property offers more than makes up for it, to the point where the room size hardly mattered. Even our room overlooked the stunning Lake Ashi, making the stay all the more special. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.
