Upon arrival the staff kindly informed us of our forwarded luggage from the previous hotel. Which was already placed in our room. Upon entry we noticed 1 piece of luggage was missing. I want to thank the staff of Dogo Yaya for their hard work in getting the luggage to our hotel within 24 hours of arrival. Service was amazing. The onsen facilities around the hotel were good and the hotel provided the necessary clothes and towels. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of foods which we enjoyed a lot. I highly recommend the hotel if you're staying in Matsuyama. Next time I will consider booking a night extra, 1 day was too short.

Great little place with all the OJ you can drink ;-) This little gem is really nice for couples and those with 2 young kids. The price, atmosphere, location, and service are all too notch. You’ll love it!

Overall, a great hotel. The room was clean and spacious. Loved the complimentary mandarin orange juice taps that were provided for guests. The hotel was also located in a good location which was near the onsens and convenience stores nearby. The shopping street was also a stone's throw away. Definitely value for money and will consider staying in this property again when I am back in the area.

This hotel has many nice features and is quite close to Dogo's onsens. Orange juice on tap is a nice feature. The provided yukata and bathing products were appreciated and of good quality. The guest room I stayed in had a nice layout and furnishings. The design, in principle, is good. It was a bit worn in areas, and definitely needs some maintenance and updating. Also, sunlight into the room is quite limited. Most of the staff were quite friendly and helpful. The check-in staff did not make eye contact with me while describing the hotel and room, which was quite off-putting.

This hotel was in a great location if you want to go to Dogo Onsen and the surrounding shopping arcade. The local mikan juice (orange juice) on tap in the lobby was so fun and really yummy! The breakfast in the morning very delicious. The traditional Japanese breakfast was expansive in the dishes, the western style option was more of a continental European style than the american style breakfast we were expecting. We thought it was all delicious though. The only complaint would be the headboards are showing some age (peeling and fading) but other wise the room was a cozy japanese/western mix! The hotel also has Yukata (even in kid sizes), slippers and towels to borrow to use at the local onsens. The staff was kind and had some english speakers which helped out greatly!

The rooms in this new hotel are very distinctive. They are attractively designed with a tatami room and raised beds in a separate tatami room. Free mandarin orange juice on tap in the lobby. Elegant breakfast buffet for a reasonable fee. Close to the Dogo Onsen; the hotel provides free yukata (robes), towels and discounted tickets to the Dogo Onsen.
