Stay was comfy staff were AMAZING

It was a very small dated hotel with very few amenities. There’s a restaurant connecting to the lobby where you can smell cigarette smoke. No laundry facilities onsite. I stayed there 5 days and 4 nights, but did not receive any room cleaning. Only the trash was picked up and towels exchanged. The housekeeper was very nice. The owner / manager speaks English well. One of the female front desk staff didn’t seem friendly.

Room and bathroom are small. Staff are excellent. Location is good.

Great location with super simple accommodations. Coming home to an ice cold room after a day of "feel's" like temperatures of 104 degrees is fantastic! Also enjoyed the free face masks!

Close to where I needed to go

Situated near shopping malls, restaurants and train station. Very convenient. Staff are very nice and accommodating. Will definitely stay again when I comeback to Osaka!

Hotel Kojan was a comfortable and budget-friendly place to stay. The room was spacious, especially by Japanese standards, which we really appreciated. The staff were friendly and generally very helpful. The location was excellent—just a short walk to Dotonbori and surrounded by plenty of bars and places to eat. We highly recommend the onigiri place just a few doors down, and there’s also a nearby ramen spot that serves a delicious fire miso ramen. There was a bit of a damp smell in the room when we first arrived, but it went away after we kept the air conditioning running during our stay, so it wasn’t a major issue. We used the laundry service, which was convenient and a nice amenity. However, it’s worth noting that they seemed to use a hot drying setting, which caused some minor shrinking to our clothes. If you plan to use it, it might be a good idea to specify your preferences in advance. Still, it was great to have clean laundry taken care of. Housekeeping came daily to change towels and take out the trash, except on the second-to-last day. We’re not sure if that was intentional or just an oversight, but it’s something to be aware of. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would recommend Hotel Kojan to travelers looking for an affordable, comfortable, and well-located stay in Osaka.

Very friendly and helpful staff and clean room. Beds were okay but a great deal for the price.

The owner was friendly and so helpful. He directed us to the nearest subway station and shared what we could find in the area. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom was clean. We had two rooms for the seven of us. Would stay here again

This hotel is in a great location a short walk from Dotonbori. The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful and they helped us with our luggage transfer. We booked one triple room and one single room. The condition of the triple room could do with some TLC as the walls and ceilings had what looked like water leak marks on them. The photographs make the room look nicer than what it is. Also given the busy location there was quite a lot of noise from the street disrupting our sleep. My husband was in the single room and his room walls were in better condition, however in the middle of our first night he could smell cooking smells in the room. However the next morning we mentioned this to the front desk and they changed his room and the following 2 nights were fine. We oaccepted it for the price we paid and we only spent time in the room to sleep.

Nice little hotel in a quiter part of Shinsaibashi while still not being too far from the more bustling areas of Osaka. During daytime and early evening hours, the several closeby Crysta underground mall entraces allow easy access to the several nearby train stations

This was my second stay at Kohan.this time, when I checked in, the door to the room had been left open. A wet, dirty towel had been left on the rack in the bathroom. Other than this, the room was fine.

The hotel was clean and spacious for the room we had booked. Location is good for connections to trains and a convenience store nearby. Manageable walking distance to Dontobori but quiet enough away from the hustle and bustle.

Room was large, which I was thankful for. Easy walking distance to Dotonbori, a plus !
