The hotel is conveniently located between Odori Park and JR Tower, making it easy to get around. The hotel is clean and cozy, the staff are enthusiastic and friendly, and there's a key card access system for the elevator. Additionally, there's a separate counter offering complimentary toiletries such as tea, makeup remover, and facial cleanser, which is helpful if you haven't brought your own.

Rook was in good condition. Didn’t like that the shower area was a bit small and that the shower curtains smelled bad. Hotel staff also don’t clean rooms on a daily basis so this is something we’re not used to

Room was very dirty - there were many stains on the walls, curtain, shower curtain and even on the pillows. The hotel was so stingy that they only had one small pillow per guest. The pillow was not even a full size pillow - it was probably half the size of a regular pillow and was thin and uncomfortable. When we asked for additional pillows, we were told there are no extra pillows and we basically had to make do with that pathetic one singular pillow per person. Hotel also doesn’t do cleaning every day. They do cleaning every 3rd day, which probably explains the poor condition of the room. For the price of over $300 per night, we found it quite ridiculous that we were expected to bring out the trash bins and dirty towels ourselves since the hotel doesn’t do daily cleaning in the name of being eco-friendly. Bottled mineral water was also not provided, unlike other hotels in that area that we stayed in. Please avoid this hotel if you can.

The hotel is near & walkable to sights like Odori park, clock & tv tower, etc.. & to subway stations, shopping malls, restaurants , really convenient. It’s clean, no bad smell, though it have a smoking floors, well maintained, looks new, I booked a semi double room for 2 person,( though i am the only 1 ) i did like the layout as 1 side is free fr furniture, or at the end so easier to move ,tv channels are mostly in local language, no international channel. Only thing is the pillows, there’s 2 that’s really small & flat, i read their rules & regulations that 1 pillow per person, no extra pillow are available, also not provided for children😬🙁 even though there’s 2 pillows ( as i booked for 2 person) its not enough as its really flat , not the standard pillow u get , i read the review about this & now i understand the feelings of those persons. I think the management should do something about this, its a hospitality industry , its a basic need or comfort when you’re traveling far from your home unlike amenities ( they have it in the lobby like teas ,shower caps etc..) Need to change to a better pillow. But otherwise its a good hotel, should be 3 stars on Expedia, i recommend it & would book again. Thanks to the staff for accommodating my request on my booking ( high floor/ non smoking)🙏

The property is located a short but walkable distance to Sapporo station which wad perfect for me. There was plenty of konbini, and dining options around and a nice short walk to Odori Park, Sapporo TV tower and subway lines. The property is kept very clean and to a very high standard. Room size was adequate for single person. My only dislike is not being able to control the A/C individually per room but that is because i am a cold sleeper. Otherwise, great room.

The convenience of KOKO HOTEL Sapporo Ekimae doesn't stop at its location. The hotel offers a seamless underground walkway from Sapporo JR Station, complete with a lift for those with bulky luggage, making snowy treks a thing of the past. Nestled in the tranquil side of Sapporo, it's a haven for peace-seekers. Should you crave a livelier scene, a mere 10-minute stroll leads you to the vibrant hub where Donki thrives. On-site, a delightful restaurant serves up tasty treats on the ground floor, adding to the hotel's charm. For any last-minute needs, a convenient store sits just across the street. Inside, the rooms boast all the essentials, at a price that's hard to beat. Eager to explore further, I'm eyeing the other KOKO on the bustling side for my next stay, confident in the excellent service they promise.
