Mercure Kyoto Station

All perfect!

Clean, modern hotel with spacious rooms. It would be even better if they had a laundry on site.

Quiet, excellent stay

Helpful staff and very clean and modern rooms. Also quite large rooms compared to a lot of other places we stayed.

The staff was very nice and helpful, room was clean and surprisingly roomy for Japan. We even got a crib. Will recommend for families ( we have 2 under 2).

Room is ok and pretty.

The hotel and room were attractive and spaces designed well. The only drawback is lack of a chair and desk in the room. It was not possible to sit down to write, read, or type on computer. The basement lounge is very nice but it is not the same as being able to sit and work inside the hotel room.

The bed was wonderful and the room was nice and modern. And the staff were all great.

Surprisingly smaller then expected. We happen to get the room facing the large street, in that case the noise still come though. After ten at night there would only be a few times where motorcycle rev in front, so only a few time each night you would be woken up.

We stayed here for 4 nights during our trip to Kyoto and really loved it. The room was super nice—spacious enough for two people with carry-ons, and the interior design made it feel cozy with a touch of luxury. The TV area at night was especially relaxing. The shower water pressure was perfect too! Rooms were very clean. The only thing is that our King size bed had starting to get a bit bent towards the middle, but it didn't bother us that much, since it was comfortable overall and we were always exhausted, The location is amazing—less than a 10-minute walk to Kyoto Station, which made getting around the city so easy. We could reach pretty much anywhere in Kyoto within 15–25 minutes by train. This was our second time in Kyoto, and this time we specifically chose a place close to the station to save our feet and energy for sightseeing instead of walking long distances just to get back to the hotel. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a comfortable stay near the main station!

Mercure is a very solid option if staying in Kyoto! Close to the train station and was nice and modern.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The room was really nice and the location was in a great location.

We really like this hotel . The space is almost like American hotels, at least the one with the sofa bed. The service of the restaurant really good, we ate breakfast and dinner and the food was very tasty and fresh. Definitely we will come back

The hotel is good, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast is great. We shipped our luggage to tokyo from the reception and everything went smoothly. The location is good, not far from the train station.

A great stay in walking distance (10-12 mins) of Kyoto station. Also can take a bus if needed from right outside the hotel.

It was great at Mercure Kyoto Station. The Buffett in the morning was really good. Many choices. The location is perfect and the hotel in general is very clean.

hotel building is not clearly signed making it harder to find.. TV situation is overly complicated. the hotel decor is fussy and lobby often packed

This was my favorite hotel/hotel room in Japan. Great location, nice lobby, friendly staff, great breakfast, and love the room and the space. I would def stay here again and would recommend to friends and family

A short walk from Kyoto station, very convenient! The room was modern with an amazing view of temples in the city and mountains in the background. Walkable to plenty of food and shopping! Breakfast buffet had lots of variety and was decent (get there early in the morning!)
