The hotel was wonderful. Unfortunately the snow park was closed early and I wasn’t able to participate in any activities. But I loved the onsen. I went to it every day. I wanted to use the gym, too but it seemed you had to pay, which confused me because I thought it would be free for guests. I had a wonderful experience none the less

Comfortable resort hotel, with a lovely onsen (hot springs), 3 indoor & 1 outdoor pool, sauna etc! Lovely views. Peaceful location in the hills, golf course. Regular free shuttle bus from nearest station which is well connected to Sapporo & airport. All rooms are smoking so it smells a bit, but very clean. Buffet breakfast and dinner. Better for earlier risers as breakfast finishes at 9:30 and checkout is 10am... Take everything you need as it's in the middle of countryside so it's not easy to pop out unless you have your own car. Better book the full meals plan.

Silent place on hill top, no shopping or restaurant near by so you are better to dine in the hotel or drive a few km out. Hotel is clean and the water of hot spring is impressive. Room was clean, tidy and spacious among hotels in JP. Food of buffet breakfast and dinner were quite good. But, the dinner finishes at 9:30pm and end of enter by 8:00pm, some foods stopped at 8:30, so if you come late, you cannot enjoy some foods like tempura. The declaration of restaurant was also too basic, better decoration will make dinning experience more better. If hot spring is important to you, this is a good choice.

It was my 2nd time to stay in this hotel. I feel relaxed every time I stayed in this hotel. The view from the room was magnificent. My stay was almost perfect but I got disappointed when I saw a drunk hotel guest peeping through the barrier from the men’s “rotemburo”/onsen (open air bath) to the ladies’ rotemburo/onsen. He stopped doing it when he saw me coming. After few minutes he urinated on the medicated water on the hot pool. There was no staff in the onsen area to report those disgusting and offensive acts right away. The hotel management has to assign a staff nearby the onsen area to monitor such behavior.

My room was awful, BUT I would stay at the hotel again. It was quiet and classy, located in a beautiful forested part of Hokkaido. The accessibility of the hotsprings (which you simply walk through the lobby wearing a hotel-provided yukata to access) is really what makes this an exquisite place to stay, but I'm a sucker for a good spa experience. While I didn't use them, the golf courses and tennis courts looked very nice. Specifics of the room: Very small with tiny beds and threadbare towels. They were unable to place me in a non-smoking room, so the room smelled like an ashtray.

The towels were very old and smelly. The room smells like BO. The onsen and golf course is nice but I will not stay here again. My son held his nose every time we walked into the room and no amount of room spray helps remove this smell.
