I reserved a nonsmoking room, but got a smoking room. They acknowledged that I reserved a non-smoking room. The smell was so bad I only got 3 hours sleep. I should have cancelled my reservation and find another hotel.

A very basic hotel with a small room (I had a twin room for one person, but I had to climb over the bed to get into it as there was no space between the beds and there were walls on both sides), a very hard bed, and a small bathroom. It does have friendly staff, but limited English, a Lawsons on the 1st floor (very handy), it is only a 10 minute walk from the Station, there are several restaurants nearby, and rooms have a view of the Castle (also within walking distance).

Practical and not far from the Uwajima station. No particular facilities but the convenience store on the first floor is a plus and the staff are friendly and initiative. I asked to borrow a spoon and a knife (to cut an avocado) and was also presented with a plate and chopping board. Overall a pleasant stay!

The hotel is located close to the rail station. Twin room was large by Japanese standards, not the most modern, but confortable. There were two sinks, a mini fridge and electric kettle. Coffee and tea were available (free) in the lobby, where there was also a microwave. Attached to the hotel was a convenience store, and a good bakery was around the corner. .

Stayed 4 nights and was quite pleased with the location, only some 600 to 800 Meters from the station. Ground-floor has a LAWSON Mini-Market and in the lobby there is free Coffee or Tea. You can keep the room key till you check out.

2泊3日の四国旅行の初日、9月13日に利用しました。部屋の清潔さ、スタッフの対応は非常に心地よいものでした。1点だけ残念だったのはお風呂の水圧が低かったこと。お風呂にお湯を張ろうとすると恐ろしく時間がかかりました😭 それ以外は、郷土料理のお店が周辺に多くあるなど立地も良く、快適な時間を過ごすことができました。また、機会があればお世話になりたいと思います。
